Fellow americans: What has bho done as president that warrants his re-election?

Did the unemployment numbers go from 6% to 10% under the Obama administration? Yes they did. And neither of you can get away from this facts by using semantics.

They didn't need to be saved, the free market has shown for years that it saves itself by allowing piss poor business men and people who make horrible decisions to fail, other companies who make the right decisions succeed and buy up the crappy businesses. All Obama did on this was complete one pillar of the communist manefesto, it falls under pillar number seven:

"Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan."

Control of Banks and private owned business, he gained this by bailing them out, and in return through the bailout the gubment know owns 60% of GM while the Union owns the other 40%. The banks? Well, just see who gets loans in the near future and who doesn't.

Not true, one of my Army buddies was over there when that transition happened, all that Obama did was redesignate combat units into support units, basically changed the names of the units, so know instead of one being the "blah blah combat brigade, it is now called "Blah blah support brigade". We still have just as many combat troops there as before, doing the same shit, just under a different unit designation.
And the left called this scaling down, HAHAHAHAHA!!! They fooled you!

Bush's plan was to kick there asses, but Pelosi and the like decided to make the ROE so strict it damn near tie our troops hands behind there backs, so they couldn't fight to win, just fight to sestain the war.

Exactly where is this going on now that it wasn't already going on before Obama was elected? Admit it, Obama is doing the same thing Bush did, and you hate it but still have to word it in another way so it doesn't bother you so much.

Bush never tried to pass a socialist healthcare bill. And no, it won't save 120 billion over the next few years, it will cost that much more in the next few years because you will have less people paying into it then are receiving the crappy treatment. Common sense should tell the normal citizen this much.

Which will hurt troop moral and retention and ultimately weaken national security. He also violated the law by doing so because the military falls under the UCMJ and is not subjected to civilian law. To be fair to Obama on this one though, Gates is just as guilty for allowing it to happen instead of telling Berry to ram it up his corn hole.

It only became the biggest oil disaster of our time because instead of doing the right thing and helping from the get-go when Louisiana asked for it the Obama administration waited almost an entire 3 weeks to offer federal help, heck, other nations where offering to send in ships that could help clean it up but 'ol Berry refused to allow them "That in itself should tell you something". He wanted this disaster more then anything, and when it happened he just went with it, he needed it to happen in order to implement the drilling moratorium "Which also hurts our national security because it makes us more dependent on foreign oil".

Our nation does not NEED free stuff, it needs to follow the constitution and quit listening to the entitlement class like you. And to be honest you say "From day one", from day one since Obama was in office he had a filibuster proof congress AND senate, which means they could have passed any law they wanted to without one republican vote, so why didn't they? I will tell you why, they need bipartisanship on some votes that way when it became so unpopular they can point the finger across the isle and say "It was the Republicans fault too!!!!".
Well, they are just going to have to deal with the consequences on the health care law, that was all Democrat, they paid for in in 2010, and more to come in 2012.

You're so sure of it, you cannot even think to list it, riiighhhhttt.
Well, if you think about any of it, please come back and let us know so we can get a good laugh at it and then prove you wrong again.

Your thread was a good one

The left was beating the Iraq war drums back in the nineties.... but, hey...
They needed to, to build up support, knowing that the war would become unpopular and would lead them to electorate numbers that they would need to pass hard legislation. I have to admit, they where slick about it, who knew there where so many communists and socialists among our diplomatic ranks before all of this happened? Except for maybe Senator McCarthy back in the day....not very many of us.

I have another one that is always fun on this board..

You ask "What has Obama done that warrants his re-election

I will reply....He won the Nobel Peace Prize

Now, this is where it gets interesting....rightwingers will flock to the thread denouncing the Nobel Prize committee and then use the "Go Advanced" button and post crazy guys smilies like this one :cuckoo:

I can do one better....
Who cares about the committee...

Why dont you tell me what he had done to get the prize...

Oh yeah....he promised to close GITMO....oh wait....never mind

Oh yeah...his words around the Mulsim world of peace resonated.....oh wait.....Egypt, Libya, and soon Saudi Arabia.....

So...uh.....seems to me it wasnt Obama who should have won the prize...he did nothing.....but his speechwriters? They were the ones who were short changed.

Not just the 90s
If The Bush Administration Lied About WMD, So Did These People -- Version 3.0 - Right Wing News (Conservative News and Views)

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security." -- Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

"I am absolutely convinced that there are weapons...I saw evidence back in 1998 when we would see the inspectors being barred from gaining entry into a warehouse for three hours with trucks rolling up and then moving those trucks out." -- Clinton's Secretary of Defense William Cohen in April of 2003

"Iraq is not the only nation in the world to possess weapons of mass destruction, but it is the only nation with a leader who has used them against his own people." -- Tom Daschle in 1998

"Saddam Hussein's regime represents a grave threat to America and our allies, including our vital ally, Israel. For more than two decades, Saddam Hussein has sought weapons of mass destruction through every available means. We know that he has chemical and biological weapons. He has already used them against his neighbors and his own people, and is trying to build more. We know that he is doing everything he can to build nuclear weapons, and we know that each day he gets closer to achieving that goal." -- John Edwards, Oct 10, 2002

"The debate over Iraq is not about politics. It is about national security. It should be clear that our national security requires Congress to send a clear message to Iraq and the world: America is united in its determination to eliminate forever the threat of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction." -- John Edwards, Oct 10, 2002

"I share the administration's goals in dealing with Iraq and its weapons of mass destruction." -- Dick Gephardt in September of 2002

"Iraq does pose a serious threat to the stability of the Persian Gulf and we should organize an international coalition to eliminate his access to weapons of mass destruction. Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to completely deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." -- Al Gore, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." -- Bob Graham, December 2002

"Saddam Hussein is not the only deranged dictator who is willing to deprive his people in order to acquire weapons of mass destruction." -- Jim Jeffords, October 8, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -- Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002

"There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein's regime is a serious danger, that he is a tyrant, and that his pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated. He must be disarmed." -- Ted Kennedy, Sept 27, 2002

"I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002

"The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons. He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing the world, during the interval, to lose the focus we had on weapons of mass destruction and the issue of proliferation." -- John Kerry, October 9, 2002

"(W)e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. We all know the litany of his offenses. He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. ...And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm. So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but it is not new. It has been with us since the end of the Persian Gulf War." -- John Kerry, Jan 23, 2003

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandates of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." -- Carl Levin, Sept 19, 2002

"Every day Saddam remains in power with chemical weapons, biological weapons, and the development of nuclear weapons is a day of danger for the United States." -- Joe Lieberman, August, 2002

"Over the years, Iraq has worked to develop nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. During 1991 - 1994, despite Iraq's denials, U.N. inspectors discovered and dismantled a large network of nuclear facilities that Iraq was using to develop nuclear weapons. Various reports indicate that Iraq is still actively pursuing nuclear weapons capability. There is no reason to think otherwise. Beyond nuclear weapons, Iraq has actively pursued biological and chemical weapons.U.N. inspectors have said that Iraq's claims about biological weapons is neither credible nor verifiable. In 1986, Iraq used chemical weapons against Iran, and later, against its own Kurdish population. While weapons inspections have been successful in the past, there have been no inspections since the end of 1998. There can be no doubt that Iraq has continued to pursue its goal of obtaining weapons of mass destruction." -- Patty Murray, October 9, 2002

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -- Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998

"Even today, Iraq is not nearly disarmed. Based on highly credible intelligence, UNSCOM [the U.N. weapons inspectors] suspects that Iraq still has biological agents like anthrax, botulinum toxin, and clostridium perfringens in sufficient quantity to fill several dozen bombs and ballistic missile warheads, as well as the means to continue manufacturing these deadly agents. Iraq probably retains several tons of the highly toxic VX substance, as well as sarin nerve gas and mustard gas. This agent is stored in artillery shells, bombs, and ballistic missile warheads. And Iraq retains significant dual-use industrial infrastructure that can be used to rapidly reconstitute large-scale chemical weapons production." -- Ex-Un Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter in 1998

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years. And that may happen sooner if he can obtain access to enriched uranium from foreign sources -- something that is not that difficult in the current world. We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction." -- John Rockefeller, Oct 10, 2002

"Saddam’s existing biological and chemical weapons capabilities pose a very real threat to America, now. Saddam has used chemical weapons before, both against Iraq’s enemies and against his own people. He is working to develop delivery systems like missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles that could bring these deadly weapons against U.S. forces and U.S. facilities in the Middle East." -- John Rockefeller, Oct 10, 2002

"Whether one agrees or disagrees with the Administration’s policy towards Iraq, I don’t think there can be any question about Saddam’s conduct. He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do. He lies and cheats; he snubs the mandate and authority of international weapons inspectors; and he games the system to keep buying time against enforcement of the just and legitimate demands of the United Nations, the Security Council, the United States and our allies. Those are simply the facts." -- Henry Waxman, Oct 10, 2002

If you wanna find Saddams WMD's ,look no further than Syria. They are all guilty of allowing this to happen, Bush included, they gave the Iraqi's more then enough time to get rid of the shit. Both times, in 91 and in 2003. If we where serious about getting them, we would have done some serious spec-ops shit to secure them before the invasion happened, that didn't happen so I can only assume that we didn't really care about them to begin with or that there was some serious inside shit going on "CIA".

When are the people on the left going to realize that their elected politicians actually see them as blind idiots.

They were all fot the war until it became unpopular and so they changed their strance for political expediency.

They all believed the intel from around the world until the WMD's were not found so for political expediency, they calimed that GWB cherry picked the intel.....which no one on the left thought it was worthy to ask..."exactly how the hell did GWB manipulate intel from OTHER INTERNATIONAL agencies.....

And the left just sat back and said "yeah...that sounds good to me"....

LMAO...and then it was quite obvious with the waterboarding thing.....

Pelosi, for political expediency, claimed the CIA lied to her...but was she willing to prove it? Nope. More important things to do as she claimed. Is she willing to address it? Nope....busy busy busy.....

Really? The CIA lied to the speaker so they can work against the constitution.....and that was not impoirtant? But a baseball hall of famer lies to congress in a hearing....and THAT is MORE IMPORTANT?

Yep...left political reps have so little confidence in the intelligence of their voter base...they litterally lie through their teeth to them.

Oh yes. The Prize. How many days into his presidential term was he when that was awarded?

Must have been for his fine work as a community organizer...or his brief time as a Senator.

Rumor has it that Gore felt the awarding of the Prize to Obama cheapened the Prize.

They are hypocrites and they are agenda driven, free stuff for all "At the tax payers expense" is there motto. And if our guy does it it is horrible, but when there guy does it it is a glorious thing "As long as they buy into the propaganda agenda speeches".
In short, the liberal mind is mushy and weak, and will buy into anything that there professors tell them is the truth. So sad, not to be able to think for yourself. I couldn't imagine having to rely on someone else to think for me, but millions of Americans daily go through this, so sad.
I just found this video, it explains it all.

Don't forget that he also bows to Saudi kings and Japanese emporers. Oh wait!!!! That is another thing no US President has ever done before!!!!! Obama is so cool....Not.

A terrorist being held by the CIA outside of the United States does not have Constitutional protections. The left can bark up that tree all day long, but it will be all for not. Why do you think they want all these tangos transported into America? Because they want to give terrorists the same rights as Americans. And for this they should be put on a wall and shot. I would say Obama should be embarrassed, but why would I? I know he is more friendly with them then he is with the people who elected him in....what exactly does that make HIM?

Wrong. He wiped out the GOP candidate because he ran a far better and much more professional campaign. It wouldn't have mattered much if at all who the GOP candidate was, the results would have been the same.

Obama simply kicked their collective asses. That's just all it is.

Please. It was the horrible administration of GW Bush that got the Democrats the White House.

The Obama campaign was nothing special, SOS. Offered the moon. The sheep bought it. Sorry kids no moon.

I don't know if he can win in 2012, or who can defeat him. We'll have to just wait and see.

IF GWB admin was horrible
what is BHO called then?
5% UE vs 9%?

Deficit in the low 100 billions vs trillions?

stimuluses that are tax payer rebates or
union payoffs?

I mean really

The non stop spam from the press created this lie
GWB was a great president
History will show that
not me

GWB was horrible. BHO is still in office so who knows what they're gonna call him.

Low 100 billions? Hahahahaha.

Obama inherited a federal deficit of $1.2 trillion on the day he was sworn in last year. Barely two weeks earlier, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office issued its regular "Budget and Economic Outlook" document, stating:

CBO, Jan. 2009: The federal fiscal situation in 2009 will be dramatically worse than it was in 2008. Under the assumption that current laws and policies remain in place (that is, not accounting for any new legislation), CBO estimates that the deficit this year will total $1.2 trillion, more than two and a half times the size of last year’s.

That $1.2 trillion projected deficit — the result of bills signed by Republican President George W. Bush — grew substantially after Obama signed his stimulus bill and submitted his own budget. But even so, by the time the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, the actual deficit was $1.4 trillion, CBO said.

He was a terrible Governor and a horrible President. It will be decades before we recover.
