On a hill
Surprise..........study found the program rife with waste and corruption,
And many of you want these people to run healthcare.:eusa_eh:

The study found:

Some job training participants spent their days sitting on a bus.
Some were trained for jobs that didn't exist.
Others were paid to sit through educational sessions about jobs they already had.
High school students were knowingly exposed to the cancer-causing agent asbestos as part of a job training program.
Funds were misspent to pay a contractor for ghost employees and to purchase video games.
Job training administrators spent federal funds on extravagant meals and bonuses for themselves.
In one state, workforce agency employees took more than 100 gambling trips to casinos mostly during work hours.

All you'll ever need to know about the workings of the federal government:

"The 2011 Government Accountability Office study he commissioned, which examined programs in fiscal year 2009, found an overlapping and duplicative maze of 47 federal jobs programs run by nine agencies. Some were rife with mismanagement, waste, fraud, abuse and corruption."

Now think of the dozens - hundreds? - of other federal agencies, departments, and whatnot that are also overlapping, duplicating, wasting, blah, blah, blah. Albeit very expensive blah.

But, hey, nobody said taking care of Julia all her friggin' life was gonna be cheap.

I have no idea of course how old you are...but one of the most dangerous things about American society today is that almost half of every citizen in this country is not old enough to remember pre-plutocracy/Mommy-state America.
When I was young....
Only about 30% of households had 2 income earners, yet there was a larger middle-class % than there is now.
Education costs (tution, room and board) was about right at 25% of the average household income. In 2011...not quite double the average household income.
Gasoline was less than $1 per gallon.
College graduation rate was 20% better than now.
Fannie Mae was not allowed to purchase private mortgages.
Us Debt. was $477bn

And on and on and on
