Federal court upholds ruling that cross-shaped monument on public land in Md. is unconstitutional

And as they drive around the same beltway, in Maryland, this can be seen for miles.

It must really get their panties in a wad.

Is the Mormon Temple on federal land?
Of course not.

I just figured someone would rather eliminate this from view.

You really don't get it, do you?

You don't get it.

You can have all the religious symbols you want. You just can't put them on government property where they would give the appearance of a government religion.
Obviously.

As a resident of Maryland I've seen this monument.

Never have I viewed it as anything other than a war memorial.

I'm guessing that what you think doesn't supersede the law.

Like I said.

It matters not to me.

But I'm sure once they are done with the Peace Cross then the Arlington Cemetery will be next.

But one cross on Federal land.
