Federal ban on large-capacity ammunition magazines

Who are these people???

The pending federal law — H.R. 308, sponsored by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) — would ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Chances of its passage are considered slim amid strong opposition from gun-rights advocates.

30 rounds magazines don't kill people. If the ban is approved, which I think will not, my 19 round mags will be grandfathered. One of my 9mm pistols has three 19 round mags plus I carry one in the chamber. I have other hand guns in an assortment of calibers and capacities. Unfortunately, us law-abiding citizens get caught up in laws intended to stop gangbangers and crazies who are not going to follow the law anyway. I don't care what the police chief supports. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

It is against the law in this country to murder
If a no good scum-bag has went that far I am not sure what making it against the law to own one is going to do
