FCC to regulate after Chavez tightens rules-The Left's 'keeping up with the Joneses'

Comrades,

There is good news out of the great socialist country of Venezuela. Hugo Chavez will have better control over the internet in his country now that he can rule for 18 months by decree.

A power that some on the left wish Papa Obama could have to help deal with our nations' ills. (see Woody Allen)

Of course who does Chavez think he is? Trying to advance his country even more than our own!

Not to be outdone, FCC is set to approve on Tuesday Chairman Julius Genachowski's proposed rules governing net neutrality.

Granted, the courts have rule against the FCC in doing such things; but the Left can not let such things as rulings by racist right wing courts stand in their way.

There is just too much of "Hope and Change" to go !

The Government is seizing control of the Internet. Our American Socialists/Progressives are just doing what Socialists all over the World do. I'm not surprised this Administration is following Chavez's lead on this. I am surprised how many stupid Government Goose Steppers we have in this country though. They just sit back on their couches eating their Cheetos, playing on Facebook, watching their porn, sports and reality shows while their Government strips them of their Freedom & Liberty. These times really do remind me of the early days in Nazi Germany. Their stupid Goose Steppers just sat back and watched the Nazi horrors. People better start standing up soon. The Socialists/Progressives are on a rampage. They need to be stopped. If not now, when?

OMG another whinny pseudo-conned post about nothing at all

From the first article about Venezuela's crappy law:

The Internet bill approved on Monday prohibits online content attacking "good customs," disrespecting public officials or inciting violence against the president.

Many of Venezuela's lively news forums operate without a moderator or editor filtering out extremist or vulgar content. But the bill has concerned some free speech activists, who have drawn comparisons with how China and Cuba police the Web.

Under the new regulations, all Internet traffic is supposed to pass through a single, government-controlled access point, stoking opposition fears about surveillance and censorship.

Now for the corresponding type regulations proposed by the FCC

None.

When did the pseudo-cons become such whinny cry-babies.

Hahaha, trick question. They've always been whinny cry-babies........

Net no longer an 'Open Range'. No more free grazers allowed. Get used to barbed wire. Eventually, martial law completes the scenario.

None.

None today, but history has shown that once you let the government in they don't leave and start taking more and more and more.

This will likely have to survive a court challenge anyway since a similar attempt by the FCC was struck down as unconstitutional earlier this year.

When it gets to a point where here in the US they start talking about it like this "prohibits online content attacking "good customs," disrespecting public officials or inciting violence against the president." then I'll worry. Untill then this is just another whinny session for the pseudo-conned on USMB.

Hopefully the Republicans can fight this Socialist/Progressive Internet-Takeover when they take control of the House in January. There are lots of things the Republicans can do to reverse the awful damage the Socialists/Progressives have done these last four years. I guess we'll see though.

Funny thing is that you cannot prove that because the proposed regulations are all secret, other than what the FCC says they are.

Really with only House but with public support, the best for now is to just slow up these radical liberals and their policies
