The tip was more than a tip. It was a detailed report with acts of torturing animals, dates and reports of conversations. The FBI did nothing. When the second report came in. They did nothing.

Why?

Did the investigating agent see a chance to bash Trump, promote gun grab or both?

That's unpatriotic to badmouth the agency that harassed MLK, tried to make him kill himself and let over a dozen school kids get slaughtered.

We need to allow law enforcement to violate folks' privacy a little. They say a judge wouldn't have given them permission to ask You-Tube for the identity of the poster. Nikolas Cruz could have been anywhere, any age, or a false name.

As for the news that the FBI blew off a detailed report on Cruz in January, that is heartbreaking.
Why would anyone "Say something" when time and again the FBI is going to blow it off?

The Fort Lauderdale airport shooter tried to turn himself in, IN PERSON, to an FBI field office. They sent him home and returned his gun. 5 killed, six injured

The FBI looked twice at the Pulse shooter and decided there was nothing to worry about. 49 killed and 58 injured.

They get poop on Cruz and circular filed it. 17 dead and 14 injured.

The first time or two this happened, I defended the FBI, saying they were overworked, that they had to meet a certain bar of evidence to keep a file open, etc. But this is getting ridiculous. Cruz was trouble with a capital T and it doesn't take a law enforcement expert to recognize it; not when the guy is stating in plain English that he's fixing to shoot people.
