The Oxbow incident - Henry Fonda is terrific in this serious movie about a lynching.
McClintock! - John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara in a , classic comedic western.
Will Penny - Charlton Heston in one of the most realistic westerns ever made.

Lee Marvin is a great guy. Was a Marine in WWII. But I'd have to pass on Cat Ballou being a top western, seeing as Hanoi Jane is in it.

That is a downer about it. It was before she went whacko, though. So, that's how I stomach it.
