I love Westerns! I have lots of favorites, but my number one choice is :

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

What is your favorite?

Support your Local Sheriff ,J Garner

Any Clint Eastwood western

Realistic western:
Open Range
Unforgiven

Fantasy western:
Silverado
Tombstone

Best of all time:
Blazing saddles

I love Westerns, it's a badly neglected genre now (okay I sound like a film wanker but I'm not, I'm just an ordinary wanker).

"Broken Arrow" Jimmy Stewart

"Shane" Alan Ladd

"High Noon" Gary Cooper

I doubt if I've seen one I didn't like but those come to mind immediately.

Joe Kidd is perhaps my favorite. Open Range and Broken Trail are very good, too.
