IMHO, the LEO did the right thing. Let the court sort it out. Given the way US courts seem to go, the dad will probably not be able to prove what happened and end up paying the molester's cosmetic surgery bill or something.

i understand the pros and cons of jessicias law.

Pro. first time som perv touches a kid and gets caught they go to jail.
no outs. jail, just like in nc if you smack your spouse, its 2 days in jail period.

Cons: some people say the mandartory sentencing will encourage molestors to murder. in my opinion that is just stupid. there is still a great deal of difference in the terms of sentenance but it does destroy the only witness...


what do you do with people that twisted. I dont wanna hear that....o poor thing was abused as a child now abuses children. There are thousands of people who were abused as children, who dont abuse. You never hear about them do you? victims who dont victimize

i think the leo should have let the dad have another shot...just like in godfather 1....where the cop has micheal held up so he could punch him.
but that is just my opinion. The dad wont ever stand trial if the da is hopeing for re election.

I listen to news radio and tv. Sorry I don't get al my information from the internet like you.

I remember before air america/nova m radio, between 2002-2005, I got most of my information from npr. They reported news the corporate media wouldn't.

Examples:

Gop gave corporations tax breaks for leaving america.

Gop passed a law that allowed corporations to dip into pension funds.

Then i'd go to work and tell people and like you, they'd want proof or call npr a liberal source.

I've never lied. Neither has npr. they just tell you shit no one else will.

You just don't like the truth.

Or they would report the real situation in iraq. details, not just lies like you got from rumsfeld.

THis is why my son who will be 5 in about a month still only gets to go into public restrooms with me...unless it's a small place I know, with only one door in or out. There's always some freak waiting for the opportunity to hurt or grab a kid. I'd have hit him, too.
