Fate

Do you believe in fate? Or do you think our choices affect what happens in our lives?

In my opinion fate does exist. It seems that once something good has happened, fate always has something bad in mind afterwards.

I don't believe there's a simple answer to that question.A lot of what happens in our lives is a direct or indirect of the choices we make; BUT, those results are often unforeseen, and unforeseeable. There's an element of something else, whether one wants to label that as "Fate", "random chance" or "divine planning/intervention"

Hard to say for sure. I believe what happens to us is directly related to the paths we choose to walk.

Fate is trickey, because it is only identified after the fact. The same holds true for prophecy, identified after the fact. Our choices make up the direction our lives take, with random events exerting influence over our choices.
