Fatah lays Palestinian claim to Yafo, Haifa, Acco and Nazareth

In a recent Lebanese television appearance, Fatah official Tawfiq Tirawi claimed several Israeli cities as belonging to 'Palestine.'

Now, I do not know about Yafo, Haifa or Acco, but I do know that Nazareth and Daliyat el-Carmel and many other cities in the Galilee are predominately Arab. In fact, I was going to stay in Nazareth on my up coming trip, but after the Arab riots there earlier this year, I will not even stop.

However, as one of my other threads called for a 'simple' peace solution, perhaps swaps could be made for parts of the west bank settlements for towns like these; providing they do pledge and keep the peace . . .
