“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” ~ Benito Mussolini

Mitt Romney, in his continuing bid to attract Michigan voters and differentiate himself from the other GOP candidates, said today that while working as a “lobbyist” or an “elected official is great,”
his own private-sector experience trumps all.

The tragedy is that fascism works much too well.

Actually the trains really did run on time. The factories really produced. Why? There's the crux.

Yes, fascism, like all forms of central planning, left or right, is destined for failure. So, will you be supporting those politicians that engage in fascistic policies? You certainly can't vote for Obama or Romney if you stand against fascism. Paul supporter?

Fascism works great (for the powerful) as long as most people are too chickenshit to oppose it.

Because they put all their effort into the trains and death factories. It was their number one priority.

I've always -assumed- the trains ran on time in Nazi Germany, but Italy? ITALY!-----never.

Too many discussions of fascism quickly turn into discussions of nazis when they should be on the here and now with our militarized police forces and surveillance tactics and especially the strong anti-populist streak running through the American right.

yeah facism and communism are so different. They're both worthless crap. IT would be nice to be able to say something without having to go through the leftwing racism checker and dont get me started on the TSA and Janet Neocomunoto.

Ignoring the difference between fascism and communism is the exact reason the right is allowing the megacorps to run wild and calling it freedom.
