...for 100 employees.
A conference that amounts to $6,400 PER MEMBER...some conference.

A year to the day a commission set to getting rid of the red.

Now a lot of folks in Washington just "seeing" red.

News today ...Fannie and Freddie ...still piggy.

Spending 640-grand to send 100 employees to a Chicago conference that now looks just...Silly.

How's that for a kick in the fannie...the folks on the hook to taxpayers to the tune of 124 billion smackers...and bragging that figure is down...smacking us with what amounts to be a 640-thousand-dollar expense report ...and i guess we have to pay up.

Money well worth it...because presumably this was good for business for which we'll all benefit. Hard to say. This much is not.

If $342,0000 for travel, food and hotel rooms is the price you pay for drumming up business.

And another $74,000 is the entry fee you fork over for invitation-only dinners...you hope invite more fees.

And $140,000 big ones is the ancillary charge to get some bang out of a conference...where "exactly" is the bang for "all" these bucks?

And how is this saving anyone any bucks...and what's to stop discerning taxpayers from simply asking...What. The. Buck?
