True. The only truly conservative thing about Nixon was his willingness to oppose Communists in his career in Congress.

And then he opened China... a mixed blessing given the amount of money we owe that country and what its flood of cheap goods has done to our balance of trade.

Nixon was a Quaker. What Nixon did with China was Noble, it does not even remotely resemble how We screwed it up.
