The British have lost faith in religion much faster and more completely than they have lost faith in God. The most recent survey to show this comes from Win/Gallup, which found that Britain appeared one of the most irreligious countries on earth, with only 30% calling themselves “religious”. On the other hand, only 13% said they were atheist – compare this with the Chinese figure of around 60%. It may be that the English, especially, regard atheism as a kind of religion, or at least a manifestation of an unhealthy interest in religious questions. But I think that the explanation is more complex. British Christianity is in trouble because Britain itself is disappearing.

That's an interesting 35 seconds that I will never get back.

The anglican church is a very little church if I compare this with the gigantic influence of the british empire during hundreds of years of history. So what changed really? In former times the Anglicans were not able to convince others from the beauty of their church - and today it seems England is not able to convince itselves from the own religion any longer. But the Brits are still very good in convincing themselve specially from Anticatholicism and Antireligiosity. And they are convincing themselve from the idea that science is a better form of religion and irrealistic jokers and jesters are the real prophets of our days.

Like to think religion on the whole is vanishing as Islam and Christianity get more fundamentalist. Since religiously motivated news items are appearing weekly of late, people are thinking about things like "If God is so good, what's all this violence and discrimination about?" And then they realize it isn't about God and hasn't been for a long time. It's about people using God for their own advancement and benefit. And most don't want to have anything to do with that.

So Jews, Christians and Muslims are a danger for the fundamentalistic antifundamentalism of the jestern world?

No one has to study any serios religion if he likes to be violent. All serios cultures found the golden rule: "One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated". So no one should kill, who don't like to be killed. But what the leaders behind suicide bombers are doing is a serios problem: they kill this golden rule. A suicide bomber likes to die - so it's not a problem for him to kill.

And then they realize it isn't about God and hasn't been for a long time. It's about people using God for their own advancement and benefit. And most don't want to have anything to do with that.

We don't have a chance. No one asks us with a weapon in the hand what we like to do or likes to discuss with us about the best ways for all mankind, all nations and all individuals. We have to be strong now and without fear. Everyone has to do the right thing in the right moment. Hopefully everyone is able to hear his voice deep in his heart - the voice of truth and love.

So, if Britain is losing its religion, does that mean we cannot call their royal family the "devils brood" any more?

The greatest trick God ever pulled off was that God existed in places God forsaked!

Theism absent religion is in essence to be free from faith; what's significant and important is that the bane of religion is waning in the West, along with the fear, ignorance, and hate that is often the byproduct of religion.

God lived and died on a cross, God lived and died in Auschwitz-Birkenau. God lives and dies in places, I never would like to hear only one word about, if he would not be at my side the same time. Be happy if there is no need for him to live and/or to die in Buckingham Palace.
