I don't think there is anything more craven and cowardly than refusing refugees safety.

I don't think there is anything more idiotic than admitting unvetted potential terrorists into our country. Are you aware of the havoc they are causing in Europe?

P.S. Are you a Christian? If not, why do you extol "the teachings of Jesus Christ?"

These people were not "unvetted individuals". None of the refugees or people who were detained - as in "arrested" coming into the US were "unvetted". These were people who had been thoroughly vetted. One was an Iraqi who had worked for and with the US for more than 10 years, in translations and logistical support and whose life was in danger in Iraq. Now he's sitting in US jail.

Nice. Really decent way to treat your friends and allies.

The problem is that so many people don't reach analysis or research. How many times have posters here linked to a story which completely refutes the headline. They posted the link because the headline screamed outrageous right-wing lie, but the article showed the headline to be false. They linked without bothering to read.

"Alt-fact" website owners say that posting false news doesn't work with liberals. They're sceptical of everything and the false news is debunked within minutes of posting. It works on conservatives because they will believe anything without question, as long as it confirms their pre-conceived ideas.

Nice selective reasoning, citing a single individual's temporary detention while ignoring the thousands of individuals that even the Obama administration admitted could not be properly vetted.
