F-35A

In no way can this be classified as well run program. Plot of happy talk articles lately......suffered a cancellation by Singapore I believe

The Air Force has experienced a shortage of qualified pilots.

Currently 700.

In 6 years in excess of 2000.

Impressive design to accommodate the needs of all branches with 1960s technology.

We dont need more stealth we need more supercruise capable platforms
First of all - you can never have enough stealth capabilities. That alone kind of determines who wins if the other sides radar is unable to detect you coming. Second - this fighter jet is far beyond stealth. You should have read the article before commenting. It is the most agile and maneuverable fighter jet ever created by any nation. That's a massive advantage and quite a game changer.

Stealth is is only stealth to certain radar bands...Russians and Chinese are breaking it down

What? :uhh:
yahoo has been full of em...and yes there was a pass......
Dude - your entire sentence was incoherent. What in the hell is "plot of happy talk articles" and what in the hell does fucking Singapore have to do with anything?!?

I highly doubt we are selling top secret technology to Singapore. Furthermore - who cares if they did cancel an order? We're not manufacturing F-35A fighter jets for mass production and profit. We're manufacturing them for our defense.

Check out the "F-35 lame duck" thread in this forum, Manonthestreet is the idiot who spent years posting about how the F-35 wasn't stealthy, was too slow, couldn't fight, couldn't climb, couldn't turn, etc.

Now that the program is finally getting off the ground with more pilots getting time in the jet it has become quite clear how foolish Manonthestreet was so he's eating a lot of crow. The plane he said wasn't stealthy can't be tracked, the plane he said can't fight is dominating other aircraft in exercises, the plane he said couldn't perform is accomplishing way more with fewer planes than ever before possible. We know this from actual F-35 pilots, while Manonthestreet was regurgitating blogs from Internet Generals.

So poor Manonthestreet is reduced to dismissing all the positive talk by actual pilots who fly the plane with a wave of his hand while focusing on Singapore putting off decisions on a purchase they never committed to in the first place.

As time goes on and F-35 continues to prove it's value Manonthestreet will continue to look more stupid as we bring up all the "facts" he used to post. Should be fun.

Maybe Manonthestreet exaggerates problems, but what about the statistic of F-35 domination in fight with Su-27 or T-50? :)

The SU-27 is in service. But it it can't see the F-35A farther than 50km (about 25 miles) then it's too busy dodging missiles to worry about it. Same goes for the SU-35.

The TA-50 only exists in a handful of birds and they aren't ready to fight anything other than a piper cub.

Claiming the F-35 isn't stealthy isn't exaggerating, it is flat out lying bullshit. Manonthestreet was just a sucker who got too caught up in all the anti-F35 rhetoric and stupidly believed everything he read.

Now Manonthestreet has been forced to take the utterly hilarious position of saying all this performance information from actual F-35 pilots isn't proof of anything, after having spent over a year using various amateur blogs as "proof" for his claims about the plane's capabilities.

It's funny. The SU-35 has more range against a F-35A using IR. He might be able to pick it out at about 50 miles. Of course, he is too busy dodging incoming to do anything about it.

Every F-35 thread should have a little "wisdom" from Manonthestreet's posting history...

Avalanche of evidence this plane is garbage but like the warmists you cling to your faith. Several hundred billion down the toilet without even one fully functional plane.

F-35 is garbage. May as well buy YAKs Navy crippled themself when they selected F-18 over SuperCat. I have no sympathy for stupidity. Cancel it continue F-18s and start over .

Wait until he hears of all the other things in store for the F-35A like being able to fry an radar pointed at it by overloading it. And a whole lot more that is on the drawing board. When they go into testing of the new stuff, it will give him say that the F-35 is a POS. That is until it starts knocking out the bad guys radar both on the ground and in the air. Can't wait to see that.
