I know this is very hard for you to understand, but what I posted is based on NOAA GHCN database, unless you can prove there were hundreds of floating ocean buoys in 1900 recording daily temperature, otherwise there were zero such things until ARGO was installed.

Never alleged a conspiracy, but I do question their sanity in claiming there were a hundred + floating temperature stations before 1970..

You guys max out the stupid meter...of what value, exactly is an average temperature on a planet in which the max and minimum temperatures on any given day cover a 200+ degree spread? Do you actually believe you can gather anything meaningful regarding the global climate, and changes over decades measured in 10ths of a degree from such an average? Really?
