it captured the hearts and imagination of millions of Americans and fundamentally transformed the character of the war. After January 1, 1863, every advance of federal troops expanded the domain of freedom. Moreover, the Proclamation announced the acceptance of black men into the Union Army and Navy, enabling the liberated to become liberators. By the end of the war, almost 200,000 black soldiers and sailors had fought for the Union and freedom.

and were summarily put fucking DOWN by white people. Now, where is your black fucking George Washington who freed slaves from the south, dude? Come on.. SURELY you can think of a name that isn't a white guy. SURELY.

It refutes this effectively:

The majority of blacks were too stupid, lazy, or ball-less to fight for liberty until the White Man gave them to go-ahead with the EP?

Jackass. The rebellions failed because of sellout slaves tipping their masters off, not because of an inability or desire to be free. Either that BS is refuted.

oh, you mean SHIFTY ******* who would SELL THEIR OWN? gosh, slave, where did were encounter that before?

You have no Sparticus, dude. Face it. You owe white people a lot more than you want to admit. deal with it.

It doesn't refute shit, you idiot. i said MOST. In fact, the two go hand in hand- they were put down in large part because the majority of the slaves did not actively support or participate, so it never became an all-out war for freedom/

It did not free slaves and did more to help white Union soldiers to win the war, the same white Union soldiers who did not want to fight next to black soldiers. Either you BS is refuted, the emancipation Proclamation did not free all enslaved blacks nor did it apply to all enslaved blacks, the Bass has made his points.

Most did want to be free and these always rebelled in a number of ways, which is why the scared, cracker slave master did everything possible to keep slaves from uniting, such as not allowing them to read and write. the point is that most slaves were not willing to stay enslaved nor were they cowardly people, the slavemaster was more scared than the slaves were.

Yea, dude. Charles Bass is to intelligence and debating what mouse shit is to aviation.

Charlie Bass: I love ya, boyo. If you really thought all that, well, move. Far far away, to a parallel universe that perfect human beings operated in. Nobody fits that description, bubba. Not even you. What do you expect, exactly?
