Coming off a shellacking at the polls in November, the plurality of GOP voters (43%) say their party has been too moderate over the past eight years, and 55% think it should become more like Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in the future, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 24% think failed presidential candidate John McCain is the best future model for the party, and 10% are undecided.

That is excellent news. The Republican Party has become almost indistinguishable from the Democratic Party of the 60s and 70s (while the Democratic Party keeps moving to the Left). The US does not need two Democratic Parties. I'm glad they're finally realizing that. Otherwise, it would be best if they were replaced by a 3rd party.

How come you understand the problem with a government getting too big and powerful but you don't listen to guys like Thomas Jefferson when they warn you about corporations getting too big and powerful?

And how come the GOP way of governing felt an awful lot like Fascism?
