Normal people note that Peterson never actually says anything intelligent. He'll just babble irrelevant nonsense for a while, then toss out a platitude, causing the cultists to exclaim how brilliant he is, and how he just triggered those awful liberals.

Peterson does serve a useful purpose. His followers are primarily young conservatives males, and Peterson tells those young conservative males to buck up and start taking responsibility. That crowd really does need to hear that message, hence liberals kind of support Peterson.
