Sharon Green, 70, lives in a tent with her cat, Furball, at Mountain Lakes Campground in Lytle Creek in San Bernardino National Forrest on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Green who is disabled was evicted from her home at a senior apartment complex in Glendora two years ago. A Court of Appeal has ruled that Green could not be evicted by the private company managing the complex without notice, since it received redevelopment funds from the city of Glendora and is subject to state and federal laws protecting tenants’ property rights. Green has been living on the streets at various campgrounds since her eviction.
