’Everything Calm’ Prior to Benghazi Attack, No Protests

So you folks are calling Colin Powell a liar.

What I find so pathetic here is how many of these same lefties went on and on about how Romney lied about how Chrysler was outsourcing jeep production to China yet you don't seem to give a rats ass that this administration lied about the cause of the Benghazi attack for two or three weeks. Lie about outsourcing outrage lie about the murder of a ambassador and three other Americans no biggie wow.

Then why is a pass given to Bush's lies? His caused deaths. Anything Obama and others may have said didn't cause the deaths, they were just trying to explain them. If you're going to compare them to another situation, at least make it a relevant one.

What lies would that be? The one's the left keeps claiming about Iraq the one's many Democrats stated before Bush was President and long before the Iraq invasion or the evidence presented by the president which was seen by many high ranking Democrats before the invasion and supported by them? This I might add being the same Democrats who did not claim they were lied to until the war got tough and the 2004 election rolled around as far as your pass to Bush goes he was grilled, questioned, and criticized over Iraq from 2004 till the day he left office. It was the failure of Obama and other's not to understand the dangers on the ground in Libya and to ignore the security concerns of the Ambassador that caused the deaths and trying to push a story they knew was false from pretty much day one is not trying to explain the deaths it's trying to cover up the reason for them to hide their failures in dealing with security in Libya.

There were no WMDs, according to Powell and Rice in early 2001. How were they able to change their minds so quickly, when Bush had the inspectors leave before they even finished their job? If he didn't know there were no WMDs, he certainly wanted to make sure that no one found out until after the invasion. THAT'S a lie of omission, if nothing else, and led to a lot of deaths. Now we're supposed to get up in arms about 4 regrettable deaths and conflicting stories AFTER the fact? Come on! How is that even in the same league?

My video speaks for itself. It wasn't me saying it. It was Powell and Rice. Beliefs were apparently pretty fluid in the Bush WH.

So, if I were to post the quotes from the Clintons saying they believed there were WMD what say you? I posted the video of Powell and what he had said it stands on its own. It certainly has to trump your video. Kerry and Hillary both voted for war with access to the evidence. You can post all the videos you wish to cloud the issue but in reality, as the liberals point out, votes have consequences. Action in Iraq was voted on and passed by Congress. BTW action in Serbia and Libya was not. But I suppose those are not the same because we were just killing other people with very little risk. For what?

Colon Powell changed his story on Iraq once the war became unpopular because it dragged out and scum like Powell didn't get invites to NYC and DC cocktail parties until he sold out to liberal scum.

So the CIA and British intel agencies said Saddam had WMDs......but Bush is a liar because he believed them?

The CIA told obmination that AQIM killed the Ambassador and 3 other Americans.....but obamination didn't lie when he claimed people at a "protest" ended up killing them?

Typical liberal bullshit.

Except the CIA didn't tell President Bush Saddam had WMD. In fact the opposite is true.

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again.

Nor was the intelligence included in the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which stated categorically that Iraq possessed WMD. No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq.

President Clinton never called for the American military to invade and occupy Iraq. All the quotes from 1998 were in regards to the bombing Clinton was trying to justify.

The difference is the timing of the deaths. Bush's lies resulted in deaths. If lies were told by Obama, and that's still a BIG if, they were AFTER the fact. GET IT, fuckwit?

He also changed his story once his boss decided he wanted to invade, hence the U.N. speech. Did he sell out or was he just tired of lying for Bush?

My point only that EVERYONE believed he had them...and its true they did.

Franco just resents being bitch slapped.

Rice and Powell didn't. They were going around in early '01 saying he was contained and hadn't rebuilt. Most of the quotes you're touting were from the 90's when the picture wasn't as clear. Like comparing Iraq to Ben Ghazi, it's all in the timeline.

Take a deep breath, its ok...they ALL believed he had them....Kerry 2002, Hillary 2003.....now hush.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

The sandbox is in the next room.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
