Ever use the phrase "long time no see" ? PC'ers say stop it !

Cons hate change. If it werent for liberals, cons would still be speaking in olde english. Whats wrong with changing how you speak to be inclusive?
Quite wrong.

No one changed the language from olde English.

Language simply evolved as it always will.

If you wish to change your language to be more inclusive fine. No one cares.

It is when liberals try to push change on others that it is wrong

Once again nothing in this story has anything to do with "Liberals".

I made that point when this thread started and challenged anyone to prove me wrong. None tried.

Interesting how, as an Asian, I have never once in my life heard of this.

One of these phrases was “long time, no see,” which is viewed as derogatory towards those of Asian descent.

WTF?

The Regressive Left has our kids walking around like open emotional wounds, ready to start bleeding at the slightest provocation.
.

A minority of people are defining what's acceptable and what's not, and we're allowing it to happen.

Or, we're resisting it by calling it out for the bullshit it is, when it's overthought as this is.

Obviously whoever wrote the article in your OP thought so too, or it wouldn't have been deemed newsworthy.

What is so terrible about saying "Long time, no see!"?

God bless you always!!!

Holly
Nothing until it offends someone. Then you should stop saying it to them.
That right there is just it. We don't know who is going to be offended with anything that we put out there until its already been put out there.

God bless you always!!!

Holly
Thats fine and its always been that way. However, once you find out you are offending someone stop doing it unless it endangers you or keeps you from doing what you need to do. Its called having good manners.

^^^ Or the people who find something offensive can also go somewhere else and not try to rip the rights away from other people.

God bless you always!!!

Except you can only control what you do. You cant control what someone finds offensive.

If you think it's offensive don't look at it or move on and cease expecting people to bow down to your whims

Yeah thats pretty much what Holly said except in a much more bitchy way. Same answer applies though.

What might be the colours of the rainbows on your planet, Netop?
