Oh...it can happen again and probably will particularly with the statist government we have now.

The fear you speak of resulted from propaganda generated by our government. Politicians love instilling fear. It grants them great power particularly when they force the nation into war.

I don't doubt that some Japanese Americans were spies. It has been documented by so called experts that some were. But, that does mean our government should round all of them up and imprison them. At any rate, the detention was based in racism, since the fools in the government did not round up the Germans, Italians, and other nationalities aligned with Germany.
