It sucks when you run out of other people's money. Best not to become dependent in the first place.

If they only understood that its taxpayer funded civil servants, firemen, police, teachers, and social service bureaucrats that make an economy prosper ...........

Heck, all they need to do now is borrow, print, and increase their debts on "infrastructure" projects...

Anarchy does not mean chaos. That's a false notion implanted into the minds of the people to be sure they keep strolling along in Statist land.

its literal translation is - no crown. Where monarchy is - one crown.

Not that I'm surprised that so many believe anarchy means complete chaos lacking any social order. The statists thank you for your support of their monopoly on societal rule.

It's also hilarious that you believe the only option besides socialist central planning, is chaos.

That's funny.

There are libraries all over and an internet full of information wealth. i suggest taking advantage instead of regurgitating hyperbole and nonsense.

Yep, the only alternative to failed socialist statism is some third world muslim shithole.........Both models enjoying the benefits of their willful ignorance...........

Too funny

Far better than what?

I can't speak for anarchists but I would say "no", anarchy is not a far better system than other options out there. I will say that a representative republic that limits the federal government to a few enumerated powers via a Constitution that ensures individual liberty and property rights is a far better system than anything else out there, including typical European socialism, dying on the vine as we speak.

Could the economic situation in Europe possibly be a breeding ground for another Hitler and the Nazi Party?

Think about what led up to World War 2, the 20's and 30's, the Great Depression and how the world treated Germany after World War 1. As things continue to get worse economically in the world, hard pressed countries like Greece, Spain and Italy could produce another group like the Nazi Party just waiting for that one circumstance, that one event to propel another leader that takes advantage and thrusts the world into another World War.

Countries would then have to pick sides and in the middle, being pulled in all directions would be the United States.

Am I just being paranoid? I most likely am.

I'm a classical Liberal. But i lean towards the ideas of anarchists. many believe in voluntarism, self ownership and private property. I'm with you on this one though. I prefer a republic constitution with a govt. that has few enumerated powers that are clearly defined and are upheld.

Socialism never works. But i do find it quite amusing that the diehard socialists are unwilling to accept that fact.

The closest approximation to democratic socialism can be found in the Social Democratic economies of Scandinavia, or Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.

These countries have less unemployment than the United States.

They have less public debt as a percentage of gross domestic product.

They retain AAA ratings with Moody's and Standard & Poor's.

Labor unions are much stronger in those countries.

Everything American reactionaries claim does not work works fine in Scandinavia. Government requires taxes. Good government requires high taxes.

And none of those places have championed innovation, new technology, individual liberty or a bill of rights. Furthermore, Friend. Social democracy is a political standpoint, not an economic one. And finally a close approximation means diddly shit.

it's like I almost scored a touch down. Almost only works in horseshoes and hand grenades. fella.

If the EU (including Scandinavia) were a part of the United States......would it belong to the richest or the poorest group of States....?

Finland....would be the fifth poorest as a state of the USA (along with France and Germany)
Belgium....the sixth poorest
Sweden......seventh
Netherlands.....ninth
Denmark.....tenth

Apart from the Rep. of Ireland, has anyone noticed how the economic implosion only seems to have affected countries in Southern Europe? Something to do with an appalling work ethic and over-reliance on their northern neighbours for economic assistance, perhaps?

Of the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland the United States has a higher per capita gross domestic product (GDP) than any of the four but Norway.

https://www.cia.gov/library/publica...004rank.html?countryName=United States&countr

However, there is quite a bit more economic inequality in the United States.

https://www.cia.gov/library/publica...ates&countryCode=us&regionCode=noa&rank=42#us

So there is more poverty. A better way to measure the standard of living than per capita GDP would be the median income. In comparing the quality of life one should also consider the lower crime rates in Scandinavia and most of Europe, and better average health.
