European Socialism or Capitalism

So asswipe....how many European countries have our number of illegal hispanics invading their country overrunning schools, hospitals, etc.

Also, let's throw in legal hispanics and blacks that make up the majority of criminals, welfare queens and dropouts in this country.

Comparing the USA to lilly white European countries the size of a state in this country is not even 1st grade level intelligence.

The USA has minority groups that aren't welcomed in European countries, minority groups that have put a strain on our system here. They would not welcome us sending 5 million hispanics to their country.....I wonder why?

Imagine how well off Germany would be if they have 20 million illegals from Turkey, eastern Europe, Spain, Italy and Greece to escape their economic problems. Oh, I bet Germany's education numbers, healthcare, etc would get better in your fucked up mind......eh?

Strange those European countries on their own can't compete vs the USA in GDP and that they send their college students to our schools more than we send our students to their schools. Go look at the list of the Top 25 schools in the world, idiot.

Gone Berserk -

If you had REALLY been to 40-odd European countries, you might have noticed:

- many EU countries rank above the US in education
- many EU countries rank above the US in healthcare outcomes
- many EU countries rank above the US in literacy

- virtually all EU countries rank above the US in economic mobility
- virtually all EU countries rank above the US in infant mortality

FACT: An immigrant is more likely to get rich in Europe than in the US, because economic mobility is higher here.

I wonder where Americans learn of political systems, and economic systems? The label of socialism is used over and over on these boards but try getting a scholarly definition of socialism. So many of these terms are used as simple political name-calling. Most economists and political scientists would label America as having a capitlaistic economic system with some socialism. We do not have laissez faire capitalism and probably never had beginning with Hamilton's program to help business. I wouldn't be surprised if some social scientists could point out a little fascism or even communism in some of our programs.

GB -

Again, if you really had been to 40-odd European countries, you might have noticed that cities like Amsterdam, Vienna, London, Paris, Marseille, Berlin, Lyon, Rotterdam and Hamburg have very similar rates of immigration to the US average.

Half of the population of Rotterdam have parents born outside Holland.

You mention the Turks in Germany - do you want to tell us how many migrants DO live there? Because I think it's around 10% of the population, isn't it?

And yet Holland still has better economic mobility than the US, and a Gini Index that shows the working class getting a much bigger slice of the salary pie.

It's funny that one minute you were boasting about how great the US is - now you are blaming it's failure on immigrants.

Maybe immigration is one of the reasons why the native Dutch are escaping the Netherlands in record numbers.

The Arabs and Turks, as well as eastern European gypsies aren't welcomed in many European countries and their numbers don't come close to what we have in blacks and hispanics in this country.....not even close.

The Germans are cracking down on Turks and gypsies sneaking into their country because they see what has happend in the USA, idiot. They understand you can't allow millions of low skilled, low educated, disease ridden people to invade your country to get "free goodies."

Mexico the last time I checked borders the USA, not Germany. Germany would be in a different situation if they had Mexico on their border. Germany has their versions of Canada on their border in France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, etc. :eusa_whistle:

My friend and I when visting Madrid, laughed that Mexicans should get on ships and come to Spain since they speak Spanish everywhere and they have a bigger welfare state than us. I could only imagine how the Spanish would "welcome" poor, darker skinned illegals from Mexico and Latin America.....

The Eurotrash system liberals long for here is a Big Daddy state where people are taxed at a higher rate for the promise of a medicore life. If you aren't smart or don't have money, then you are going to live in your small apartment and ride public transportation to/from work for life.

Spot the person who has never been to Europe!

I'm thinking there are at leat 6 major factual errors in that statement, but anyone closed minded enough to have written that statement is hardly likely to be interested in facts.

In this country you can work hard and get ahead better than the European in their rigged system

Wonderful, wonderful posting!

And if this was 1958 - you'd even be right!!

Ive been there. several years in fact.

Maybe you should point out those discrepancies.......You have a number of nations to cover......Get busy........

Many European countries are now realizing they have allowed too many non-white people in their country that have more babies like rabbits than the locals. These immigrants have figured out they can sit at home getting free stuff for life while the locals pay the taxes.

Europe is a ticking timebomb, the muslim riots in France over the years is a warning sign.

Oh, but things are so peachy in Europe.

Maybe immigration is one of the reasons why the native Dutch are escaping the Netherlands in record numbers.

Good news for America:

The US ranks #39 in the world in income equality

The US ranks #30th in the number of hospital beds per capita

The US ranks #10th in economic freedom

The US ranks #17th in credit worthiness

It must be the immigrants...

Since when are the blacks in the US "immigrants"?

Where were your great grandparents born, by the way?

Moron....I am speaking about groups that have put a strain on our welfare, education, healthcare systems just like the groups that are doing it in Europe.

Blacks and hispanics on average cause more problems for our system than whites. The same goes for Turks, Arabs and gypsies in Europe.

So idiot, the USA has a BIGGER problem with larger minority groups than Europe has with their "newer, smaller" minority groups......thus shut the fuck up comparing the USA to this or that little European country.

You are just too stupid to follow along....

Actually you did that.

You mentioned Germany before I did.

You raised the issue of economic mobility before I did.

Slaves were brought to the US as far back as the 17th century - how long have your family been in America?

So who are you to call them immigrants?

You're a circle jerk jackass.

No more giving you any attention.

Oh yeah - that is why you have Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears and Europe has Lar von Trier and Bernado Bertolucci.

You could turn that around easily enough.

You could - but how funny would that be?

I just live the idea that GB's indicator of a healthy society is somewhere high school dropouts can get rich.

Maybe it is because I live in a country with the highest rate of Masters Degrees in the world, but I think it is more important that any person can receive a good education than catering to those who don't.

He didn't say that the U.S. caters to those who don't receive higher education, merely that one can succeed without it.

You make a fair point (about what he claimed), but the fact remains that economic mobility for high school dropouts in the US is so low it can barely be measured.

The only way a dropout is going to make real money in the US is basketball, drug dealing or rapping. Or all three.

Socialism is not a form of Government? This speak volumes about how bad our education system has become.

Apparently you need to go back to school. You can have a democratic form of government that is socialistic or very conservative; same holds true for our form of a constitutional republic, it can me either very conservative, socialistic or somewhere in between. And last of all, you can have a dictatorship that is socialistic or one that just takes everything from its citizens without giving anything back.

Now don't confuse they boy, He is already trying to merge two thoughts into one.

MADRID — Spaniards struggling with high unemployment and a credit squeeze delivered a punishing verdict on almost eight years of Socialist government at the ballot box on Sunday, turning to the conservative Popular Party in the hopes of alleviating the pain of Europe’s debt crisis.

I guess you need to tell the NY Times there is no such thing as a Socialist Government.

Looming tax hikes by France's new socialist government have triggered an exodus of the Gallic super-rich to 'wealth-friendly' nations like Britain and Switzerland.
France's proposed tax hikes spark 'exodus' of wealthy - Telegraph

I guess you will also have to pass the word to the UK's Daily Telegraph.

I don't give a rat's ass what a country calls their government.

I rely on the Structural Functional Model to tell me the real type of government a country has.

Obviously you uneducated ass wipes do not have the capacity to analyze anything by any means.

As they say you can't fix stupid.
