BRUSSELS, (PIC)-- The European campaign to end the siege stated on Monday that there is an agreement among humanitarian organizations to retain an open sea passage to the Gaza Strip and not to succumb to Israel’s threats to intercept aid convoys at sea.

Arafat Madi, the head of the campaign, said that a coalition of many organizations, including the Turkish IHH relief foundation, the Free Gaza movement, and the European campaign to end the siege, will send in early May a fleet of ships to Gaza.

He noted that there are concerted moves to activate the issue of Gaza blockade at all levels throughout the European continent and urge more European lawmakers to participate in the sea convoy heading to Gaza.
