Europe Objects Anew to Detainees

We don't want your bad guys unless you take our bad guys.

Snipped from the article,
Congress has refused to authorize $80 million Obama wants to pay for closing the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, until he reveals exactly what he plans to do with the 240 prisoners held there.
This is the epitome of the Obama campaign/administration, talk a big game, but no plans to execute it.

Obama has changed nothing that the Bush haters whined about---how odd.

Been tryin' to tell them since the election that all that crap he threw out about McCain being a "Bush third term" was bullshit, 'cause they've got one now.

Really, we may as well send them there. That's where we'll find them later anyway.

Sure he has, they complained about Mr Bush's massive deficit spending (and rightly so), and Mr Obama has changed that, it's now massive times 8.

Why can't a President who has given our country such higher standing in the world convince them to do the right thing and take some of these prisoners?

Exactly how do we measure this "higher standing in the world?"

Maybe the government should auction them off on Ebay. Could you imagine the money?

(bad humor here).

The locations won't be released to the public until they're transported and locked up again. Are you nuts?

That said, I suspect the maximum security prison in Colorado will make Guantanamo look like a summer vacation home to the most hardened who will be re-imprisoned there.
