Erik Erikson: America, you're watching the beginning of the end of the Republican Party

I can hardly contain my laughter at the hypocritical leftists crying about hatred towards Obama. I guess they forgot their profound hate for George W. Bush. But hey, leftists think it's ok for them to hate, and when they hate, it's really not hate. Leftism is a cult of hate.

Actually, guy, I voted for Bush twice.

And I wish I could say the reason I turned against him was because he got us into an unnecessary war or completely fucked up a response to a hurricane or completely missed an impending terrorist attack on America. His ineptitude cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

I had to wait until his gross incompetence led to the recession of 2008, which completely wiped me out.

If people hate Bush, it's because of what Bush did.

If people hate Obama - usually for doing things they were previously for (Drone Strikes, Renaming Denali, Romney/ObamaCare) - it's because they are fucking racists.

Your inability to answer is noted.
Yes, Fox presents "fair and balanced." Liberal outlets present propaganda.
Uhm, no.

Yes, Fox presents balanced stuff. That's why they have liberals and conservatives. When was the last time a conservative was given a fair hearing on Maddow?
I am laughing at you and your incessant bellyaching.

Anything rather than admit I am right and you are full of shit. I get it.

You are rarely, if ever, right. MSNBC has had a number of arch-Conservatives give commentary on their network, including Pat Buchanan.

I do love batting you around, you are an excellent playtoy.

Now, go make some more false Greece predictions. That would be very entertaining.

Thanks.
How often does that happen? You've given one, one, example. That's it. Fox usually has liberals on. Who hired Juan Williams after he made anti Muslim comments?
Yeah your ignorance is matched only by your arrogance and stupidity. My Greece prediction was spot on. Your Hillary prediction is laughable. Your posts are merely stupid.

Oh, Joey, you're just so much fun to play with.

Okay, that unnecessary war. Was that the war Hillary and scads of other dimocrats voted for? You know, against that country run by Saddam Hussein, whom every notable dim was on record warning us and the world about the danger he posed, guaranteed as slick Willie put it if we didn't act?

Hurricane? The one where mayor Nagin, currently a guest of the federal government, forgot to deploy the buses that could save residents, as clearly outlined on the city's website at the time? The same hurricane that somehow caused governor Blanco to sit on her hands for days rather than formally asking for federal help as required by law?

Bush missed an impending terrorist attack? Really? Please expound.

the thing is

the left would blindly vote for any of those

it doesnt have to make sense

it is just the way it is

And ALL of the DEM candidate are good and approved party operatives who have vested long enough to be included as pawns for the REAL candidate who will be selected by "superdelegates" behind closed doors. EVERY ONE of them "establishment candidates"..

AND ---- The Republicans have at LEAST 15 debates scheduled... The Dems?? Only 4..
There is a pattern between their governance and the way the party operates.. Highly controlled at the top, not very accountable or visible to the mere public and BIG sense of entitlement from all the folks "entitled" to be Prez this cycle..

I'm neither party.. But it's right there in front of your eyes.. The DNC doesn't really trust the people to decide, doesn't value debate, and is more about the DNC --- then it is about their constituents..

Here's part of the problem:

Grassroots GOP voters, along with many independents and centrist-right Democrats, want to secure our southern border and enforce our immigration laws. But the GOP Establishment doesn't really care about illegal immigration.

Grassroots GOP voters want the national of abortion stopped or at least markedly curtailed. But the GOP Establishment doesn't really care about abortion.

Grassroots GOP voters want an end to these ridiculous, destructive "free trade" agreements. But the GOP Establishment loves NAFTA, CAFTA, etc.

Grassroots GOP voters want to see a vigorous defense of traditional marriage and a Lincoln-like response to the Supreme Court's recent obscene decision legalizing gay marriage in all states. Rather than roll over and accept the Dred Scott decision, Lincoln and other Republicans rightly called the decision an abomination and a perversion of the Constitution and vowed to fight it. But the GOP Establishment has no desire to wage a vigorous defense of traditional marriage.

Grassroots GOP voters want to see a reduction in the size and cost of government. But the GOP Establishment wants nothing more than to slightly slow the growth of government, if that.

one can look back at the last convention to see that

Whenever that party does ANYTHING openly and by vote -- they take a huge risk and it usually ends in embarrassment. As in that famous floor fight last time around where the term God-given potential had been restored to the platform and the "jerusalem -- capital of Israel" had been restored. A LOUD voice vote OPPOSING the measure was heard 3 times --- and the CHAIR recorded the vote in the affirmative. A tussle ensued. CLEARLY --- they are not able to work these things out in groups larger than 10 or 12. It is a very top down type of organization with the inability to open the process up least the rifts and factions and ugliness be exposed..

They LOVE to talk about the split in the Repub camp.. But their internal fabric is seriously frayed.

A spectacle I will never forget.. Seriously -- I doubled efforts to support 3rd parties after that hissy fit..

Haven't you guys been saying this the past fifty years?

I was in Jr High when McGovern split the party. That was a true grassroots movement. Not possible in today's Dem party. You don't get Fiorinas and Carsons and Caines and Trumps stepping up to the plate. And the split is to this day HIDDEN from view.. As opposed to the identity claimed by the Tea Party and their ability to form a message -- the PROG-ESTABLISHMENT split in the Dems is covered in smoke. THere's a Progressive Caucus -- but they are not organized to pull weight with the party. Yet that split is even worse than the Tea Party split because it's largely hidden from discussion and debate by the complicit media..

Oh, Joey, you're just so much fun to play with.

Guy, there's a difference between saying, "That mouse is a problem" and burning down the entire house to get the mouse. I realize you are kind of stupid, repeating whatever shit you've heard on Hate Radio, but the reality is, Bush was the guy who pushed for that war, and he's the one who ignored the UN and the Generals and launched it.

Hurricane? The one where mayor Nagin, currently a guest of the federal government, forgot to deploy the buses that could save residents, as clearly outlined on the city's website at the time? The same hurricane that somehow caused governor Blanco to sit on her hands for days rather than formally asking for federal help as required by law?

None of which excuses Bush sitting on his ranch doing nothing until it was too late.

Bush missed an impending terrorist attack? Really? Please expound.

You know, the one where the CIA went to him with a paper entitled 'Bin Laden determined to attack US" that specifically mentioned hijacking airplanes!

Bush's response. "You've covered your ass" and then he went fishing.
