"The Hamburg district court is reviewing the civil case concerning a poem by comedian Jan Böhmermann which allegedly shamed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan aims to have the entire poem banned."

Erdogan has imprisoned thousands of military, police, reporters, and anyone he dislikes. As he consolidates a dictatorial style at home, he is now going after people in other countries. Let us hope he will not get his way with European Union states.

Well, Turkey these days.

I don't like Erdogan, but that poem could be pretty offensive.

Boris Johnson also wrote one:
Boris Johnson wins 'most offensive Erdoğan poem' competition
It's pretty ridiculous that he is now Foreign Secretary, he is quite undiplomatic.

I think it would help more to stick to facts when talking politics.

My point is that these poems can get close to hate speech against Muslims at times.
