Merlin, I cant say I very often agree with you, but I'm with you on this one.
I think the Consitition has already addressed this equality issue..I do not support an amendment for women's rights or one that bans gay marriages, for the same reason.

Many have questioned, “What is their agenda?”

We believe our agenda to be the same one that every intelligent, honest, and thinking American could consider as a goal for our country:

1. Admit that "…all men are created equal" is an ambiguous statement—in need of clarification. (Always has been and still is. As such, it has been and remains subject to prejudiced and unjust interpretations.).

2. The Equal Worth Amendment (EWA) is a clarification.

3. Persons may agree with the EWA clarification or else have—and share—an alternative clarification.

EQUAL WORTH AMENDMENT (EWA) (Revised: March 23, 2005)

Section 1. Every person is fundamentally of equal worth and value in self, solely on the basis of being a member of the human race, unconditionally and unexceptionally.

Section 2. Every person has the inherent and inalienable basic right to be related to as an equal worth and value in self by all other persons.

Section 3. Every person has the complimentary inherent and inalienable basic responsibility to relate to all other persons as of equal worth and value in themselves.

Section 4. Those realities that are not persons (i.e., not human beings) are not entitled to the same rights as persons.

Section 5. No laws of the United States shall be considered valid if they create or perpetuate a condition in violation of the principles set forth in this article.

Do you think every person deserves an equal salary regardless of actual skills, abilities, wisdom, or experience?

"…all men are created equal"

Created equal, quite possibly..But it's what you do with yourself from that point forward that dictates where you end up in life. Therefore, your equality theory is shot to hell.

And who exactly are these realities that are not persons? People once said blacks were human beings. So does that mean they arent entitled to the same rights? or is this just a loophole you are putting in the kill little children who arent born yet?

You want to invalidate rape law? You want to invalidate incest laws? I know Justice Ginsberg wants to. I don't want to. But it sounds like you do with this language.

Personally i think its about time men started lifting women back up on the pedestal they deserve to be on instead of degrading them like society has been thanks to the feminazis who have been trying to get women to trade every good and unique gift they have for the crappy life men have. I have no desire to degrade women by given them the same worth as me. Most of them are a hell of alot better than Ill ever be. The rest would be if they just started acting the way they should.

BTW If you want to stick around please start actually talking with people instead of trolling with the same crap. We don't appreciate it. If you actually discuss your points instead of just posting hit and run posts you might be able to persuade more people simply trolling just annoys people.

I warned you twice. You're not here to discuss and debate, you're simply here to advertise. You're gone.

Now how's he ever going to achieve goat-sucking status that way?? ...and he had such potential, too. Drat.

Sorry, MM & Shattered. Perhaps we can confer honorary goat sucking status on him. But it appears to me that every post is merely an ad. There was essentially no direct response to any other posters, but simply more cut and paste and more website references.

I don't know if Jim will agree with my assessment, but I've got to call 'em as I see 'em.

You're forgiven.. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, even if it entails taking away the new toys of children. :)

Exactly. Our culture incentivizes nobler deeds, higher thoughts and greater acheivements by enriching those willing to take such a step. Monetary incentive has worked through a succession of ages to create a strong society with great minds who bring the rest of the society forward with them in spite of their own inaction.
