1. Let’s say someone had you under their control, and commanded that you be given all the food you wished….but you would not be allowed to eat any. How long would it take for you to realize their actual intention, their design for you?

a. Not long…unless you had fallen off the turnip truck, and under the sway of the environmentalist crowd. In that case, it’d be lights out!

2. Speaking of ‘lights out,’ literally…how many recognize the connection between lights and electricity? Good! Because we’re going to examine the Progressive environmentalists’ positions on generating electricity.

3. Wind power, turbines. Environmentalists were for it before they were against it. Why? Kills birds: “But there are some people who disagree and are fighting the installation of new wind turbines in the United States. They cite bird mortality as an unacceptable side effect of wind-generated power. Through lawsuits and protests against pending legislation, they hope to save huge numbers of birds from death at the blades of massive wind turbines.” HowStuffWorks "Do wind turbines kill birds?"

4. Hydroelectric power…damming rivers…but it creates reservoirs that destroy ecosystems. “Although hydroelectric power plants do have some benefits, there are drawbacks to their use as well. There are many environmental concerns in building a hydroelectric power plant, including disrupting local ecology, and displacement of nearby people and animals.” Disadvantages of Hydroelectric Power Plants: Environmental Drawbacks

5. Natural gas? “Natural gas drillers exploit government loopholes, ignore decades-old environmental protections, and disregard the health of entire communities. "Fracking," a violent process that dislodges gas deposits from shale rock formations is known to contaminate drinking water, pollute the air, and cause earthquakes.” Beyond Natural Gas | Beyond Natural Gas

6. Coal and nuclear power? No chance with Elmer Gantry….er, Barack Obama in charge.

7. Solar power has been ‘scientifically’ proven to only work if union labor gets to build it. “SACRAMENTO — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's plan to spend billions of dollars to put electricity-producing solar panels on a million California rooftops could be running into stormy weather…. Labor unions also potentially could lead to the bill's defeat in the Assembly. They've already successfully pushed for an amendment to the bill that would allow only contractors with the highest-level electrical licenses to install solar systems.” Governor's Solar Plan Is Generating Opposition - Los Angeles Times

8. Seems that risk-free, cost-free, pollution-free energy is a myth. No energy source is perfect, and every energy source either poses a riskor produces some sort of environmental disturbance….Progressive ideology, when it comes to energy, boils down to utopianism: progressives are holding out for the miracle solution- an unlimited, completely renewable, environmentally sound energy source with no downsides whatsoever. Unfortunately, the “perfect” energy source does not, and probably will not, ever, exist. Berezow and Campbell “Science Left Behind,” p. 78-79.

9. Read between the lines. Are we so smart…and environmentalists just plain stupid? Maybe. But, also maybe, the real ‘brains’ behind the movement is not pro-American.
In fact, think about it…if not for said movement, America would have been energy self-sufficient long, long ago.

So....what's the real design of 'environmentalism'?

I think you can connect those dots.

Actually, Obama is Pro-Nuclear Energy, you know why? Because G.E. builds Nuclear Powerplants and of course G.E. owns Obama.

"Obama dumps Yucca Mountain
27 February 2009
Work on disposing of radioactive waste at Yucca Mountain has all but stopped after President Barack Obama's budget blueprint yesterday. A new strategy for permanent storage is to be developed.

A cross section of the Yucca plan The confirmation came with the following words from the Department of Energy: "The Yucca Mountain program will be scaled back to those costs necessary to answer inquiries from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), while the administration devises a new strategy toward nuclear waste disposal."

There is every reason to believe that we have far more energy reserves than the government estimates.

a. The 2008 USGS assessment estimated 3.0 to 4.3 billion barrels of undiscovered, technically recoverable oil in the U.S. portion of the Bakken Formation, elevating it to a “world-class” accumulation. The estimate had a mean value of 3.65 billion barrels. The USGS routinely conducts updates to oil and gas assessments when significant new information is available, such as new understanding of a resource basin’s geology or when advances in technology occur for drilling and production…. The 2008 USGS assessment showed a 25-fold increase in the amount of technically recoverable oil as compared to the agency's 1995 estimate of 151 million barrels of oil. b. Oil giant BP says it has made a "giant" new oil discovery in its fields in the Gulf of Mexico…. BP said the discovery, amounting to more than three billion barrels, would "support the continuing growth of our deepwater Gulf of Mexico business into the second half of the next decade". BBC NEWS | Business | BP in 'giant' new oil discovery

c. According to the US Geological Survey, the Arctic sea floor has 13% of the world's undiscovered "conventional" oil reserves and 30% of undiscovered natural-gas reserves. Oil-Drilling Trade-Offs: Keystone for Alaska
