There have been in excess of 800000 NHS organ donation ‘mistakes’ to date.
They are unable to keep accurate records. Just recently thousands of patients were simply removed from GP registers without their knowledge.
They missed screening for cancer etc and some of them died as a result.

The problem is, when there is an error and organs are harvested from a non donor there is no penalty. Strip the surgeon of his license and remove the stolen organ to be disposed of in the same manner as the remains. Then such mistakes will stop.

Yep, no penalty - just a ‘sorry’ and absolutely every negligent act is now a ‘systems failure’ - so no accountability.

So you think you owe nothing to anyone?

Had you been born in Somalia, your life would be almost the same.

The Founding Fathers, why did they bother fighting the British. They could just have said "I don't owe anyone anything, fuck fighting".

The problem I see with this is crooked doctors being PAID to take an organ for some rich person. Corruption. And we know it can and will happen. So poor Jane Doe is not dead..yet. But her kidney is needed by Lord or Lady Whomever..and their pockets are deep. So doctor makes sure Jane dies so the part can be sold.

This particular issue is relatively benign. But it does highlight a more general problem we face when socializing services like health care - it puts government in the position of making more and more of our personal decisions for us.
