Life in prison is the stiffest penalty for plotting to assassinate the President? :wtf:

Well, IMO, that's a bunch of stuff. Attempting to/plotting or otherwise contributing to an attempt to assassinate the President of the US should be punishable by public beheading with a claymore.

In my way of thinking, if one is caught plotting to cause harm in anyway to the US, be they here as citizen; visiting, legally or illegally; or just snuck in to do harm-torture and death penalty are the minimum.

Having your head hacked off by an two-handed broadsword more suitable to stabbing and hacking is hardly what I'd call humane! :death:
