called "wang" in Tibetan, and "abhisheka" in Sanskrit. It's a mind to mind transmission that happens when a Buddhist student is introduced to a meditation practice.

Does that happen in any other tradition?

That's probably true. I'm talking about a spiritual experience, USC.
 
In Christianity, it's called repentence. And it occurs when people turn to God and through His grace overcome human weakness step by step until they are sanctified.
 
The wang is, and the wang is down.... for some that is a very spiritual thing

I don't think repentance and empowerment are equivalent spiritual experiences. Empowerment is a mind to mind transmission of a state of awareness.

Hindus have an equivalent experience.
