The rich already got richer, simply for already being rich.

The right wing, loves to "whine about taxes in public venues", regardless.

Well, I can tell you this, capitalism allows somebody who ain't rich to get rich, through their own ingenuity and hard work. No other economic model comes close, particularly socialism. In a socialistic society, if you're born poor then you stay poor.

Thnx. It's hard to understand the enthusiasm for socialism when there is no instance in human history where such a model has ever worked out. Some countries, such as Sweden have tried socialistic policies while under the democratic form of gov't, but even then those policies almost wrecked their economies and they had to revert back to more capitalistic programs. It always sounds so great, free healthcare, free education, free food, free housing, free everything but it always comes back to how to pay for it. People like Bernie Sanders say we can do this and this and this, and it's always an out-and-out lie; they ALWAYS underestimate the true costs and overestimate the anticipated revenues. ALWAYS. You name it, any socialistic program in existence in this country is based on false assumptions and lies.

So here it is, for all you socialistic libs out there, let's cut to the chase: every socialistic democracy out there taxes the crap out of the populace to pay for the free healthcare and all that other stuff. Leaving alone the argument about how good that free healthcare is for the moment, those countries pay for it with mammoth taxes; a VAT tax around 25% that everybody pays, and an income tax that everybody pays too. None of this shit where the bottom 50% pay nothing, nuh-uh. It's everybody into the pool brothers and sisters, so I tell you what. Put it all out there, you can have free healthcare and the rest if you're willing to pay this, this, and this no matter who you are. Then let's see how well you do in the next election.

Know what I think? I think you'll get your asses kicked. And if not, so be it. But beware, you'll be fucking your own kids over if you do this.

While the Left lies about socialist economies in the Nordic nations.....they aren't.



The problem here is the equating socialist redistribution programs, with socialist economies. The Scandinavian nations are not socialist economies; Denmark has a freer economy than does the USA. Higher tax rates to support the redistributionist part, but far less business regulation than America.

Capitalism makes countries wealthy…..socialism redistributes wealth, shutting down industry in the process.

Nordic countries have high levels of social services, but this is paid for by exorbitant tax rates. Denmark has a 63% tax rate, plus a 25% sales tax.

And….a 5.5% decline in GDP in the decade.
