Jesus, just when you think there are no more sharks to jump, the New York Times blithely instructs us to hold their beer:

Earlier this week South African MP Julius Malema sang a song with the lyrics ‘Kill the Boer, kill the White farmer.’

The New York Times actually published an article defending the song, claiming it shouldn’t be taken seriously and blamed the backlash on the ‘right-wing’.

The article goes on to point out that with 150 million users following Musk, the Times could actually incur real damage over this.
