Elizabeth Warren's Fraud

Gee, I fondly remember lefties in here singing Lizzy's praises when she first announced she'd seek the nomination so she could walk over Brown while rescuing Teddy's seat from the dark side. But all I can say now is...Cowabunga!

The left is sick.

2 things..

1) this is a big deal to me..

Zmek then revealed (probably inadvertently) why many Americans consider mainstream media claims of even-handed reporting beneath contempt. She confirmed to Breitbart that “no other news organization had contacted her to date on any national topic or to inquire about the validity of this purported 1894 Logan County, Oklahoma marriage license application or anything related to the 1894 marriage of William J. Crawford.”

maybe they are all still in Wasilla digging dirt on Palin....

2)

Fordham piece called Warren Harvard Law's 'first woman of color'

smip-

Elizabeth Warren has pushed back hard on questions about a Harvard Crimson piece in 1996 that described her as Native American, saying she had no idea the school where she taught law was billing her that way and saying it never came up during her hiring a year earlier, which others have backed up.

But a 1997 Fordham Law Review piece described her as Harvard Law School’s “first woman of color,” based, according to the notes at the bottom of the story, on a “telephone interview with Michael Chmura, News Director, Harvard Law (Aug. 6, 1996).”…

The description of her as a minority is coming from the same person – Chmura – whose comments to the Crimson sparked the original story about her heritage, and Warren’s camp argued it’s old news.

She has said she had no idea Harvard was billing her that way or how the school found out that her family claims Native American heritage. She learned of it first from the Herald story, she said.

so at the end of the day they got that snippet on her nativity form someone somewhere and, that someone NEVER actually verified it either...Oh and of course warren says she never got any special treatment based on her heritage..hello how the hell does she know that? Its almost a dead certainty she did, since the news she was Indian was not a secret as Harvard didn't mind telling anyone....and she was listed as such.

The corruption in our media goes very deep. Why else would the left be so angry at people like Breitbart?

It won't matter, they will still vote for her because she has a D after her name..

The (Imaginary) Indian in the Woodpile | VDARE.com

it's not difficult to figure out why American whites would so desperately want this fantasy to be true. For one, of all non-white groups, Indians-slash-Native Americans hold a special place in our hearts as noble, heroic, environmentally wise, blah blah. Unlike Hispanics of today, we invaded them, not the other way around. For two, the multicultural juggernaut has devalued European/British ancestry in favor of more colorful hues. Nobody brags about being related to Charlemagne. And three, there are practical benefits to the claim, like free fishing rights, casino licensing and, as Elizabeth Warren has discovered, tenure at Harvard.

What corruption?

Oh..you may mean Newscorp..which, famously, redefined the FCC from an agency that licenses broadcasters..to one that makes "suggestions" that what is broadcast as news..is factually correct but subject to no ramifications if it is not. It's also an agency partially owned by Saudi Princes and who's CEO got caught red handed tapping people's cell phones.

Be that as it may..Breitbart follows in that wonderous tradition of fabricating a parallel reality that coincides with their ideology..regardless of what the objective facts happen to be. That's how Shirley Sherrod's cautionary tale about personal bias in her past cost her - her job.

Well, we don't have to worry about BriteBart and his personal brand of lies any more. Thank goodness.

Just tell the truth Warren. No wait, don't. Why would I want this story to go away? I'm hoping for another miracle win from Brown.

So, Ms. Warren, you see, it is not just your opponent who has questions. We Cherokees have questions too and those questions have yet to be answered by you. You see, for us Cherokees, this is not political. This is about the truth.

You have claimed something you had no right to claim -- our history and our heritage and our identity. Those things belong to us, and us alone. These are not things we choose to embrace when they benefit us and then cast aside when we no longer need them, but that is what you seem to have done by "checking a box" for several years and then no longer "checking" it more recently, when apparently you no longer needed it.

Of course, you say you only "checked the box" in an attempt to meet others like you, but that doesn't make sense. If one is claiming to be Cherokee and wants to meet other Cherokees, they don't "check a box" on a job application or in a directory for their profession! They go to where Cherokees are.

A reader alerted me to Thoughts from Polly’s Granddaughter, a blog run by Twila Barnes, devoted to documenting Cherokee genealogy and countering fraudulent claims of Cherokee heritage:

I am the wife of a career soldier and the mother of four. I am registered with the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and, like my ancestors, have always been proud of my Cherokee heritage. I have been studying Cherokee history and genealogy for a long time and I am interested in anything Cherokee, whether it involves the historical Cherokee Nation or the Cherokee people of today. I have been fortunate to have been mentored in Cherokee history and genealogical methods by David Cornsilk and the late Jerri Chasteen and I hope to pass on what I have learned to others. I adhere to the Standards for Sound Genealogical Practices and believe one should only claim what they can prove through solid historical documentation.

I spoke with Ms. Barnes today. She is 7/32 Cherokee, has 10 ancestors on the Dawes Roll and many other relatives who are Cherokee including her grandfather (7/8 Cherokee) and mother (7/16 Cherokee). Ms. Barnes is active in Cherokee affairs.

Ladies and germs, I give you Harvard Lore-Schools first woman of color...

... it was a long hard fight to get there but it's worth it for the diversity. (the word "diversity" should by no means be interpreted to imply a diversity of thought)

I hear it's the high cheek bones that gives you that "Indian look".

I still can't believe she actually said that. She's crazy. Warren's still claiming she's proud of her native heritage.
