If I was going from Connecticut to New Hampshire ,I'd drive all the way to New York then up across Vermont just to avoid going through that La Brea Tar Pit of liberalism.

You'd drive through New York and Vermont to avoid liberalism?

Yeah. While NY and CT are Blue, they are Blue because of large urban centers that vote democrat. However, MA is just thick with socialists and Kennedy sycophants.
Every single person I have met who has moved here from MA says roughly the same thing. The politics of the state...'scuse me, 'Commonwealth'...were too far to the Left and the taxes through the roof.....
