Eleven States To Jail Feds Who Violate The 2nd Amendment

This is music to the ears of all patriots. The second and tenth amendments make it very clear the feds have no authority in gun control. IT'S A STATE ISSUE!!

Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Missouri, Indiana, Tennesee, Oklahoma, North Dakota, New Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming have proposed legislation to jail federal officials who violate the second amendment.

The 2nd Amendment Preservation Act is a state-level bill that renders all federal gun laws, regulations, rules, acts, orders, etc – null and void within the borders of the state.

The Firearms Freedom Act declares that any firearms made and retained in-state are beyond the authority of Congress under its constitutional power to regulate commerce among the states. The FFA is primarily a Tenth Amendment challenge to the powers of Congress under the commerce clause, with firearms as the object.

Ever been to a Civil War battlefield? Nullification which you applaud as a good idea is put in perspective when the grave markers are read.

Didn't they want to prevent cervical cancer in 10 year old girls by forcing a potentially deadly vaccine injection? (gardasil) This is the group that elected Rick Perry. We should sell them to China.

Uhh - no - the Texas plan for preventing cervical cancer was just to hope none of their daughters had sex. (LOL!!!!)

Eleven states and one OP ignorant of the Constitution and its case law.

I sort of hope they go through with it. Nothing would act to ensure that the moderates/liberals maintain the White House increase their foothold in Washington more than anarchist GOP mouthbreathers pulling such a stupid prank.

One of the sad aspects of this is it’s incumbent upon state lawmakers to enact measures in good faith, and to refrain from enacting laws they know full-well to be un-Constitutional. These elected officials more than likely swore an oath to obey the Constitution of the United States, as interpreted by the Supreme Court, not their ‘understanding’ of it.

How are these "feds" supposed to know that you have guns? If you have registered your guns you are a fool.

Huggy, in Cities like New York, possession of an unregistered gun is mandatory jail time.

Point taken. I wonder how they can get away with a law like that? There must be an abundance of fools in NYC.

"as interpreted by the supreme court"!!!!! Where did that come from.??? The tenth amendment says interpreting the constitution is a right of the states and the people.

Enforcing unconstitutional laws is NOT an exercise of his duties. In fact it violates his duty. THINK

Its not your job to determine a laws Constitutionality dick wipe.

According to the tenth amendment i have more authority to determine a laws constitutionality than the supreme court does. THINK

you failed civics class, didn't you?

because your opinion on whether a law is constitutional or not and a nickel is worth 5 cents - possibly less if one is made to actually listen to your opinion

According to the 10th amendment, states can only make laws that aren't in conflict with federal law.

So, go to the Supreme Court and tell them that you determine which laws are constitutional and let us know how that works out for you.

Just like California and legalized drug sales.

I mean, the feds are out there closing every marijuana dispensary that dares open it's doors to the public.

Well, the DOJ does have some discretion when deciding which laws to enforce. You can bet that the DOJ won't sit back and watch states arrest fed agents for enforcing gun laws.

Proposed legislation that NO Governor will ever sign.

How embarrassing and shameful for those states that apparently morons are allowed in public office.

Those backwards redneck welfare states are too dependent on federal funds. If we cut you off, you'd be fucked.

Nice try, fringe right, now go get your fuckin' shine box.

BTW folks - to forcibly impede a federal agent in the exercise of his duties - is a crime, punishable by up to 20 years.

Enforcing unconstitutional laws is NOT an exercise of his duties. In fact it violates his duty. THINK

You're the one that needs to think. State agents have no authority to take action on a constitutional basis. If they've got a problem, they take it up with the court. If they don't, they're looking at jail time. Take your own advice. Logic 101 sounds like a good idea.
