Election = Voters still not caring about climate change!!

The environment was a loser last night. Well, people are making their choices and we all have to live with the consequences.

What is most laughable about this is.....we have two or three regular members in here who keep saying, election after election, that the "deciding" issue will be climate change!!

No Johnny, since there was little to gain from it since emissions are ALREADY being reduced nationally and at no additional cost. In this case the environment was spared from the damaging effects of installing unstable windpower at the expense of trees, water and biology.

And spares consumers from being ripped off by solar companies promising lower priced energy only to get the big bumpy cucumber when the bills start rolling in..........

My local news station, NEWS12 did a special on it in August.....solar customers ripping off consumers >>

The climate crusaders who keep saying renewables are cheaper are full of shit!!:hello77::flirtysmile4::flirtysmile4:. Don't take my word for it though......see the above article!

The Democratic Party has a realistic view of AGW. The Democrats took between 30 and 40 seats. AGW will be addressed more than it has been, not enough, but more, in the next two years. As the events created by a changing climate impact the people of the world, by 2020, it may be a major topic. It certainly is in California, and some south eastern coastal states.

meh

You said that in the run-up to the 2016 election......that "it will be the most critical issue......deciding elections". Guess what? It was on the radar of none of the voters. Every candidate in congress running on a green platform backed by Tom Steyer was decimated. ( well documented in this forum )

Oh....and your political analysis couldn't not be further off the mark. When you are in a hotly contested district that barely goes blue, you think that candidate is going to prioritizing climate change stuff in the next two years? LOL......these newly elected people aren't that st00pid. You look like a bozo without a clue making climate change a big item on your agenda......to the majority, of course. And duh......the DUMS in the House may put forward some legislation but all it is = a token gesture. Will go nowhere from there. Again.........duh. The people in these contested districts know the constituents are looking for action on a host of other pressing issues that trump ( :113: ) climate change to them. Again.............duh.:abgg2q.jpg:
