Astoundingly, eight Republicans voted in favor of the massive statist power grab that passed the House yesterday, which will result in employers leaving America for countries that allow them to do business, government intrusiveness reaching extremes undreamt of by Stalin, Keith Olbermann's puppeteers at GE raking in $zillions of ill-gotten loot, and energy costs shooting through the stratosphere ? all in the name of a "crisis" that provably does not exist.

Had they voted on the side of sanity and freedom against rapidly encroaching totalitarianism, the insanity of Cap and Tax would be over. Instead, pending Senate approval, we will have the largest tax increase in American history, right in the heart of a deep recession. The inevitable effect will be as intended: a depression. People struggling to feed themselves are easy people to control.

Via The Dana Report, here are the eight Republicans who proved themselves traitors not just to their party, but to their country:

Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) (202) 225-5330 @marybonomack
Michael Castle (DE-00) (202) 225-4165 @repmikecastle
Mark Kirk (IL-10) (202) 225-4835 @markkirk
Leonard Lance (NJ-07) (202) 225-5361
Frank LoBiondo (NJ-02) (202) 225-6572
John McHugh (NY-23) (202) 225-4611
Dave Reichert (WA-08) (202) 225-7761 @davereichert
Christopher Smith (NJ-04) (202) 225-3765
Republicans Jeff Flake of Arizona and John Sullivan of Oklahoma didn't bother to vote.

Please don't be derelict in your duty as a citizen by voting for them under any circumstances.

It would have passed anyway, Pelosi simply allowed dems in danger in 2010 to vote 'no.'

If theyr eally needed more votes, some of them would have switched votes.

LOL...

Pure cultural subversion...

FTR: Those are what are called 'Moderates' and this is merely another example of why they're to be avoided... And why we, the GOP are booting their asses OUT of the Party.

This bill will kill the domestic oil industry and I and a lot of other Americans will lose their jobs.

Look on the bright side--Are we not saving the Planet?? Where is your Eco-sensitivity?

Think of all the oxygen enriched fresh air, the blue whales swimming and wolves we can save by taking care of our Lovely mother Earth? Is your job so important, your ability to eat so necessary, that you will kill some life form for your own selfish desire to survive??

Think about that for a moment while I eat my Steak andCheese Biscuit special, OK?

I'm represented by a DINO not a RINO. Gene Taylor (DINO- Mississippi). How else could a democrat be elected in the most republican district of the most republican state?

It's the globalist agenda - of course it would have passed.

It would have passed even if there were no congress.
