CAIRO — On the eve of his first trip to the United States as Egypt’s new Islamist president, Mohamed Morsi said the United States needed to fundamentally change its approach to the Arab world, showing greater respect for its values and helping build a Palestinian state, if it hoped to overcome decades of pent-up anger.

Yeah, no.

Fuck off and die camel jockey.

Uh, I don't know where he got his idea that we were going to go along with that. (Well I do, but we won't go into it...) But he's on the wrong path if he thinks he's going to dictate to us the commitment of partnership when we are providing aide to him in the range of $1.3 Billion a year!

He is talking from a ground of strength to what he perceives is a country of weakness. Where did he get the idea that the US of A was so weak that we were going to be dictated to? Where did he get that idea, Mr. President?

The only people that can build a Palestinian state are the Palestinians.

The U.S (and Israel) should not try to stop it (unless of course they attack us or Israel), but besides that, there's nothing we can do to help.

It's up to the Palestinians and no one else!

So we do not have a puppet in Egypt now?
Good for the Egyptions, it is their country to run not ours.
For good or bad it is theirs.

Maybe he thought Ron Paul is our president?

Some of us do not believe the USA should be the police force for the world, not be into nation building or supporting dictators and such.

Hey.. This American taxpayer will be more than happy not to purchase ANYTHING from the "peoples of the region".
***************************************************************

“Successive American administrations essentially purchased with American taxpayer money the dislike, if not the hatred, of the peoples of the region,” he said, by backing dictatorial governments over popular opposition and supporting Israel over the Palestinians."

Great, then they can do it without our billions every year.

Other countrys are not stupid, they know that Obama cannot get the Republican led house to back him in anything.

Yep as it should have been for decades.

Other than purely humanitarian supplies I do not think we should give any foreign aid.
