Interesting Egypt does not invite a western construction company, but a Russian one: Good Quality, Engineering, Deadlines and Prize. How western companies erect nuclear plants you can read below: absolutely disasters. Surely Russia will receive more projects from the Near East and employ its engineers and construction workers. And what will do for example by Merkel leads Germany which completely annihilated its industry of construction nuclear plants?

Cairo: Egypt and Russia signed on Monday an agreement to build Egypt's first nuclear power plant.
The agreement was inked by Egyptian Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Russian Nuclear Corporation Rosatom's chief Alexei Likhachev, in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and his visiting Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Xinhua reported.
In February 2015, Putin and Sisi signed an initial agreement here to build a four-reactor nuclear power station in Egypt by 2022. In May 2016, Egypt approved the use of a loan of $25 billion from Russia for the nuclear power plant construction.
Under the deal, Moscow will provide 80 per cent of the foreign components of the plant, while Egypt provides 20 per cent. The plant will be erected in Dabaa city in Egypt's coastal Matrouh province.
The Russian President arrived here on Monday from Damacus, where he ordered the withdrawal of most Russian troops from Syria.

And how erect western companies now:

Continued problems with construction of the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant in Finland have pushed the facility’s expected start date into 2019, meaning operations will not begin until at least 10 years after the original proposed start of commercial service.

....
The 1.6-GW Olkiluoto 3 project is being built by a group led by Areva, France’s state-owned nuclear group. The nuclear plant, where construction began in 2005, was originally expected to begin operation in 2009. According to an October 9 Reuters story: “An Areva spokesman said the reactor would produce its first power at the end of 2018, but the ramp-up to full production would delay the commercial start-up to May 2019. He said hot-testing would start in December 2017, nuclear fuel would be loaded in August 2018, first grid connection would be in December 2018 and the commercial start would be May 2019.” The project is expected to supply about 10% of Finland’s electricity.
...
French nuclear regulators this week said a similar reactor can start at the Flamanville nuclear plant by year-end 2018. Flamanville, where construction began in 2007, is another EPR project that has been delayed on several occasions. The 1,630-MW plant was originally expected to begin commercial operation in 2013.

Okiluoto 3’s original cost was pegged at about 3.2 billion euros ($3.8 billion U.S.), but in 2012 Areva put the construction tab at 8.5 billion euros ($10.1 billion U.S.). Areva has not updated those projections since 2012.

Startup of Olkiluoto 3 Nuclear Plant Delayed Again

Egypt has a long history of successful cooperation with Russia and the president who apparently is not another Deep State puppet.

the Russians have a long standing affinity to the NATIONAL SOCIALIST
BAATHIS PIGS------it goes back some 50 years

It is very good!

what is very good, Baron, dear?

It's very good that Deep State is kicked out from the Near East.

it is not clear to me just what "DEEP STATE" means in the RUSSO ISLAMO
literature. I will remind you of the YEAR 1967----when RUSSIA fomented a
WAR between the mythical "UAR" and Israel.--------try to focus------the UAR
was very OPTIMISTIC because of the MASSIVE RUSSIAN support----armaments
and even RUSSIAN MILITARY EXPERTS IN THE FIELD-----hundreds of TOP OF
THE LINE Russian tanks. -----------it was a disaster----without the alliance
between GAMAL ABDUL NASSER ----and Russia-----it would not have happened
and thousands of Egyptian soldiers would not have DRIED UP IN SINAI.
I see a Russian nuclear reactor in Egypt as a BIG DISASTER for Egypt
