Ed Schultz is Pimping GOLD! right now, and he's Using Obama's Spending...

Go ahead and Quote me Defending or even Quoting Hannity.

:)

peace...

Damn, but you're touchy. Don't get your mullet in a bun mal. Where did I even imply you were defending or quouting Hannity? The point is that Schultz is the flipside of Hannity politically and partisanwise, yet they both pimp for something that runs counter to their ideology. You should find both entertaining.

Are you saying selling gold would run counter to Hannity's ideology? If that's what your're saying then explain how so.

You need to read all the posts LL. Hannity does promos for Chevy. He gets paid with that automaker bailout money that he preaches so hard against. The point was this, talk radio host do commercials for money with little regard as to how it jibes with their politics. Schultz who is in the tank for Obama reads the script about our current troubled times to sell gold. Hannity who is in the tank for the other side reads the script to sell chevys from a bailed out company.

Ed Schultz is Pimping GOLD! right now, and he's Using Obama's Stimulus Spending as a Reason why Inflation is coming, and why you should Purchase Gold to Protect yourself...

Am I the only one that Finds this Entertaining?...

:)

I've always found it funny. The gold bubble has burst btw.

I don't watch or listen Hannity's shows so I don't know whether he does promos for GM or not. But I'm not about to take your word for it. I'd have to see some hard evidence that talk show radio host does commercials that goes against their politics.

All the time. It's who pays the money to be advertised.

You are Attempting to Run Static for Ed Schultz... It's Illustrative of my Point about the Left.

Hannity is Irrelevant to THIS Thread...

Hannity is NOT Complaining about HIS Guy in Office in Ads and then saying "Vote for him, he's Fucking us with Inflation!"

Get the Distinction?

Pardon me, but perhaps you shouldn't engage in the discussion then. Pray tell me how I'm going to capture a clip of audio of Hannity's doing a Chevy radio commercial and stick it up here for you review and approval. I DO listen to Hannity and he has done Chevy commercials on his radio program for a long time. He talks about how much he likes his SUV hybrid in the commercials. In fact, last year or maybe the year before he was doing a Chevy giveaway on his radio show. You can believe it or not, I can't make you. Up to you.

Yeah right, I'm going to run interference for Schultz. I've never heard, read or seen the guy in my life. You're point is valid. I never said it wasn't. My point is that an honest analysis of the issue reveals that talk radio hosts on both sides of the aisle do it for the bucks rather than ideology. Hannity did bitch about automaker bailouts and then turned around and took a taxpayer funded paycheck.

The difference between you and me is that I'm a fair-minded conservative libertarian who will call a spade a spade on either side of the aisle and you.....well, not so much.

Can you cite some examples of any radio host pitching products that goes against their ideology?

So he sells chevys, how does that go against his capitalist ideology?

Off the top of my head I cannot, but I remember many a time listening to an idealogue rant about one thing or another and not 5 minutes later hear an advertisement for something against what they just supported. Always gives me a chuckle and makes me wonder who planned their advertising spots for that day.

Seriously?! :eusa_eh:

He constantly pissed and moaned about the socialist takeover and nationalization of the auto industry thru a taxpayer funded welfare bailout.......and then gets paid by the same tax dollars to sell cars for them. In effect, Hannity became a goverment employee paid by corporate welfare dollars of the Obama administration.

You don't see the irony in that? :cuckoo:

I do, and as a conservative, I find it troubling to say the least. But liberals have no business saying a thing about it. They wanted the auto bailouts.

So did a good number of conservatives wh osay it as a national security issue and feared the continual loss of our manufacturing base.

In this Case, it's Extra Ordinary...

It's Priceless that Ed is saying, "I'm buying Gold because of..." and the "because of" is the Policies of HIS Candidate!

Anyone who supported bailouts for the Auto Industry does not understand the "creative destruction of capitalism". The genius of capitalism is that it is always changing by embracing entrepreneurs and innovation. But in doing so, existing enterprises will often be destroyed or consumed.

The new industries bring wealth and prosperity to the people, but at the cost of failure, unemployment and poverty to existing businesses and devastation to their communities and investors. New markets, industries, and competitors emerge as others decline.

Capital inexorably flows to growing businesses and flees the declining industries. What we have now, thanks to government intervention, are "Zombie" companies that should not exist.

The issue with the auto manufacturers and aerospace industry is that you can't start from scratch and ramp up in a short amount of time. All of our military vehicles, tanks and planes come from those industries. Allow them to fail or fall into the hands of foreign owners and you've allowed yourself to get in a tight security spot. There are times where you are forced to consider the lesser of two evils.

It's colorful here today. Buenos Noches Amigo's. Not to be confused with my favorite ethnic food, nachoes. Nachoes and Noches are not the same, except to those with whom the language of Spanish evades them. Swimmin in a sea of unhappy here. Very unhappy.
