Ed Schultz gets his own show on MSNBC

 I'm so happy for ya bobo,, I'll send up some balloons for ya Monday. They're left over from O'Reilly's recent celebration of being NUMBER UNO for 100 straight months..:lol:

I really don't care that O'Reilly gets better ratings, as long as we are winning the elections.

But you are starting to see more balance. Notice when Bush was breaking all the laws he was breaking, we didn't have Ed or Rachel on TV to tell America that he was a criminal. Oh so now it's okay to say "guilty as charged" without benefit of a trial?? Damn you Democrats are DUmb! and angry!

Better late than never though.

PS. It took time for O'Reilly to get the ratings he has now. Stay tuned. I think Ed will end up beating them all. I won't hold my breath.

And it doesn't matter really. If O'Reilly's ratings start to translate into winning elections, then I'll worry. It'll happen,, the whole world is watching the Dems fuck everything they touch up!
Right wing idiots just need to hear from O'Reilly and Rush that everything is ok.

PS. Rush's best ratings were when Clinton was in office.

It's boring when the show doesn't bitch about the current administration. Thats why I haven't been listening to progressive talk as much lately.

My party won. My party is in charge. And I don't need Ed to tell me that things are going great.
For now. Enjoy.. The worm always turns

You want I should hold off on those balloons?

The Ed Show is really good. Just over this week, he's become my favorite cable news host. His guests are great and even his opening comments which last for about 15 minutes are so interesting and substantive.

He has Lanny Davis on tonight and they're in disagreement regrding the secret ballot for workers organizing in unions.

He has a recurring segment called Psycho Talk that is excellent. Tonight it's Glenn Beck pouring gasoline on a guest saying that is what Obama is doing to the average American and Rep. Bachus saying that there are 17 Socialists in the House.

Some of you might like it. :)

No we didn't execute Japanese officers for water boarding soldiers in WWII sealy you ignorant nit. We executed them for beheading, starving, and murdering POW's. Hell even the methods used for waterboarding were different. There is no comparison between what was done to a very limited number of Gitmo detainees and what the Japanese did to our POW's in WWII. The fact that you would even postulate that there is any commonality between what was commonplace in Japanese POW camps and what goes on at Gitmo merely reveals you to be a lying left wing douchebag.

So MSNBC now tilts even further to the left and you think that is a good thing. Shows exactly how detached from reality you have become.

MSNBC Pro-Union Host Ed Schultz Received $22K from Labor in 2008
New TV talking head took money in 2008 from steelworker, air traffic controller and plumber unions for speaking, public relations fees.

Ed Schultz debuted on MSNBC during the 5 p.m. slot on April 6 with a flashy new set. And although the liberal radio host’s “ED Show” is in its infancy, it has one apparent theme – it’s very pro-organized labor.

Leo Gerard, president of the United Steelworkers, was even Schultz’s first guest. On his second show on April 7, Schultz’s opening “OpEd” segment was firmly for the Employee Free Choice Act, also known as card check. And, on his third show on April 8, he invited Mary Beth Maxwell, executive director of the pro-union, pro-card check American Rights at Work organization.

However, there’s one detail Schultz hasn’t revealed to his audience – a potential conflict of interest. As recently as 2008, Schultz received more than $20,000 from three separate AFL-CIO affiliated labor unions.

According to documents posted on the U.S. Department of Labor Web site, Schultz received $22,304 for his services – a fact picked up by J. Justin Wilson, managing director, Center for Union Facts. Those include:

Steelworkers - “Publicity/Advertising” – $10,000
Air Traffic Controllers - “Broadcasting Services” – $7,304
Plumbers Local 189 - “Event” – $5,000

The parameters of the "debate" regarding whether sleep deprivation, stress positions and waterboarding are torture are absurd to begin with. They clearly are, but such a "dialogue" begs the question in assuming that torture is morally wrong to begin with.

We executed Japanese officers in WW2 for waterboarding our boys.

No wonder the rest of the world hates America. We are hypocrites and bullies.

But my theory is that the rest of the world doesn't hate liberal America. Look at how they love the Obama's but hated Bush.

They only hate the Republicans/neo cons/right wingers. And I tend to agree with the rest of the world that they suck ass.

Anyways, hope you enjoy Ed. He isn't my favorite but he's 100 times better than anyone on Fox.

Too bad MSNBC didn't give us these liberals back when Bush and the GOP ran the government. A liberal media might have prevented Bush from lying us into Iraq and everything else he did that was fucked up/illegal.

Instead, the corporate media helped Bush sell us all his lies. Way to go Fox, CNN, etc.

Even MSNBC didn't do their job. Sure, give us some liberal shows now that we are in power. A little late, don't you think? Back then all we had was Olbermann.

So it was Keith vs. CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. Hardly fair.
Keith was a carnival act you mistook for a liberal voice
