I agree with this, up to one single assumption.

The assumption is that illegal immigrants do not get government support and welfare.

If this was true, then his point would be true.

But it isn't. The problem is, illegals still get government support, through their children. Children born in the US, qualify for many types of aid, that then go to those illegal immigrants.
