Economic Inequality: The Greatest Conflict in US Society Today.

You neo-socialists know deep down more than anyone else that if the federal government confiscated 3/4 of the income of every so-called rich person, the Country would be worse off and you wouldn't see a dime of it. Were you sleeping during history class when they covered the Russian revolution?

Oh dear....there's a reality for you....those poor rich people having 75% of their wealth taken away. :eusa_whistle:

When did that happen?

Untrue. There is no shortage of skilled programmers and other IT specialists among the U.S.-born. We import workers from Asia because they will work for less, and thus draw pay for these skilled fields down. There is no other reason that is not a lie.

Shortage of Skilled Workers Primary Reason for Offshoring Jobs | Duke Today

You might WANT your reasons to be valid, but they aren't. I know several IT executives who vowed to hire American yet ended up grateful to get an guy from New Delhi who knew what they were doing.

Of course you did. :eusa_liar:

Such testimonials DO have the air o' Scarboroughshit to them.

None of you sheep have ever told me how someone making more money than you prevents you from making more yourself.

Maybe you shouldn't be calling people "sheep".

In any case..for those paying attention, the wealthy have co-opted the government and changed the rules to favor themselves.

Guess you weren't paying attention..you know..like sheep on their way to the slaughter.

Modern Monetary Capitalism will either resolve its inefficiencies or it will end up in the dustbin of history.

I actually expect that it will solve this problem.

Capitalism is nothing if not adaptable to changing condtions.

It's too bad Captain Fingerpaints is posting all this crap no one will read because he insists on the preschool fonts and colors.

Actually it's the politicians who change the rules to suit themselves by making it legal for them (not us) to profit from insider trading and stock deal bribes.

Once again you are blaming the wrong people for what is ailing this country.

But then again you sheep always think the shepherd has your best interests at heart even as he is sharpening his blades and warming up the oven.

Ah, yes.....like the commercial-flight industry....when safety-features (finally) became less-expensive than insurance-payouts, needed, to cover the body-counts of flight-crashes.

Because some of the 1% earn their money by shipping millions of middle class jobs to China.
They keep their money by bribing politicians for 15% tax rates thereby shifting the tax burden from investments (in China) onto wages and salaries in the US.

Gee, imagine that at a time when the obamedia is on a fucking crusade to make it the issue in their sweaty, desperate bid to keep their self-congratulation in the White House no matter in how much disdain he actually holds them.
Do you find it coincidental that America's two biggest economic crashes occurred in the years immediately following 1928 and 2007, when America's 1% "earned" 23.5% of total US income? The fact that Obama and Romney are corporate tools doesn't change the fact that when a small sliver of Americans acquire most of the gains from economic growth, the rest of us don't have enough purchasing power to buy what the economy is capable of producing.

"Choosing" between Obama and Romney won't affect the crusade the rich are currently waging.

We owe much to the Occupy folks.
"The survey, which polled 2,048 adults from Dec. 6 to 19, found that perception of class conflict surged the most among white people, middle-income earners and independent voters. But it also increased substantially among Republicans, to 55 percent of those polled, up from 38 percent in 2009, even as the party leadership has railed against the concept of class divisions.

"The change in perception is the result of a confluence of factors, Mr. Morin said, probably including the Occupy Wall Street movement, which put the issue of undeserved wealth and fairness in American society at the top of the news throughout most of the fall."

In less that six months OWS has changed the debate from deficits to political and economic in this country, but the Occupy movement may be part of a global awakening to the injustices of concentrated wealth, i.e., Mubarak's Egypt.

The rich have ruled this rock for the last 5000 years.
That may be about to Change.

what will all ewe libtards do when the investors stop investing in America? huh? whine bout it?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
They already have.
Better returns in China and India.
.....And, the S&L scam has.....

"December 16, 2003: (Online Journal) Many observers were surprised last week when George W. Bush came down in favor of the People's Republic of China, against a democratic referendum in Taiwan. His weighing in on behalf of mainland China becomes more questionable at a time when well-connected Chinese companies are funneling large sums of money to Bush's brothers.

"News reports reveal that Shanghai-based Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing, a multi-billion-dollar company co-founded by a son of China's former president, has presidential brother Neil Bush under a $2 million contract.

With no background in semiconductors, Neil Mallon Bush, third brother in the family, got a five-year contract from Grace, involving an annual retainer of $400,000 in stock. The arrangement is disclosed in court papers in Mr. Bush's scandal-ridden divorce. The business press has conjectured that Grace hoped to influence US limits on exporting sensitive technology to China..."

Chinese mega-bucks for Bush brothers

No one is obligated to give you a job. What private enterprise does with their businesses is none of your business.

And politicians have passed laws that make it legal for them to be bribed.

So let's cut the head off the snake and get our politicians back under control and force them to play by the same rules that the rest of us have to.

The Democrats want to take "The Carrot And The Stick" out of human motivational behavior and just make it all "Carrot", sort of like Hillary stalking through the catwalks and other walkways of San Quentin and Sing Sing on stiletto heels, in her strongest just discovering about Jennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky, Juanita Broderick campaigning voice, "Vote For Me And I'll Set You Free!".
The Romans resorted to providing the masses Bread and Circuses to keep them quiescent. Charley Rangel's (D-NY) statement has become the Democrat's battle standard "We have to tax more so we can spend more!"

How will destroying government FORCE the folks who BOUGHT AND OWN government to bend to the will of the people?

If anything making government less powerful makes BIG CAPITAL even more powerful.

Of course given that BIG CAPITAL already owns government, and BIG CAPITAL is also the force behind giving government and corporations still more power over the people?

The whole question of what to do to recapture democractic control of the ( laughable)democratic republic is pretty much unanswerable by LEGAL MEANS.
