I hope the parents see this as the god awful idea that it is.
They keep saying it's like the spanish as a second language programs and it isn't. In those classes they are teaching plain english.
Ebonics/slang is fine to use around friends and family. But if they can't speak properly than they shouldn't complain when they don't get hired for jobs they apply for. This will only hurt the kids in the long run.
